Ayu has been the best selling jpop artist in Taiwan with record sales well above all other jpop artists.

Ayu's Ballad is number one on Taiwan's g-music jpop chat for 8 weeks consecutively!! It has sold over 80,000 copies in Taiwan and the numbers are still growing.

Ayu's I am... had also won the Taiwan IFPI award to be the best-selling jpop album in Taiwan in 2002. This makes ayu the only officially recognized "jpop queen" by the taiwanese music industry.

Also, RAINBOW had sold over 111,000 copies in Taiwan.

I'm not surprise. At that time I remember seeing Ayu's A Ballads advertisement at almost every TV commercial break... i missed those time T.T!!

Promotional songs are kinda considered as singles there, and Song 4 u was the song used to promote LOVE.
Can't remember which was the one that promoted Party Queen though... I think it was how beautiful you are?

Party queen got a solid amount of radio airplay, dunno about hbya.

I got the impression it was barely promoted. Maybe HBYA and PQ? The album was kind of just dropped on us IMO.

Ahhh was hoping Love would chart 100k! I thought with the TOXII tie-in and one of her prettiest covers in recent memory, it would. But for a 3-song album it did well I suppose.
