And probably the one that has Natsuki in the PV. But who knows, any could be a rushed song or about a friend too. If you're only asking to start an argument, everyone has been warned to stop that, so please don't even bother cause I'll add you to ignore like the others who try to bait arguments.

^ These. The truth is, we really don't know Ayu, even though we'd think we'd like to. She went so far as to refer to herself as "Hamasaki Ayumi" the product and "Ayu" the person when she started. Though they were clearly defined back then, those have blurred over the years and that makes her even harder to figure out. The NTV specials brought a lot of things to light, but they were still TV specials and therefore the majority of that I think was Hamasaki Ayumi the product. Ayu only revealed what she did in those specials because that's what the network was pressuring her for. I doubt even with TA that she opens up as much as she says she can with them, because it's still accessible by the public and the media. Look how many times the news has said, "On Hamasaki's official fanclub..." This scandal was only brought to light because of that tabloid story, and any info we get from her regarding that is only because of pressure from the media. In the end, she only reveals what she wants to or has to. Those pictures we've been getting of Ayu and Maro are far from candid. The real Ayu is the one who's not in front of a camera; the one who's in her hotel room or on the road writing songs and ultimately going to the studio to record them.

That being said, those pictures of her and Nagase that were released? I believe that was the real Ayu - only because she didn't know the cameras were there.

the people mentioning him still being married -
he can very well be married yet he and his wife are separated, giving both of them the opportunity to date and do other single people things if they wish to. i hold nothing against the man for this reason. there are many reasons a married couple may not be able to divorce immediately. in fact, someone very close to me is in this predicament. she and her husband (of 15 some years) are married yet mutually separated and she is now in a serious relationship with someone else.

Maro still being married by law doesn't mean he's trying to do something scandalous. that would just be ridiculous, lol.

I think Ayu should have waited until the whole divorce was over its the right thing to do. It doesn't really matter if him and his wife are still separated they are still married, so it looks bad on Ayu's behalf and I don't think it is right, but I am not going to dislike her for it!

I was under the impression that they were at least in the process of divorcing. Had he and his wife even mutually agreed to separate since this decision was made today or was he just outright cheating on her with Ayu? If they had been separated, I think it would have been an important point to make in his message as it could have helped improve their images at least a little more regarding this situation. While I don't have the all the facts regarding this relationship and am trying to avoid jumping to conclusions, based on what he said, it sounds like he was cheating on her with Ayu and since it's become public, they have decided to get a divorce.

Not necessarily. She could have agreed to it because she has no other choice at this point. Her only options are to get a divorce or stay married to a man who is dating another woman and no longer wants to be with her. Or, as was stated before by others, they may have been separated for a few years now and have decided to make a mutual decision to divorce today. However, I do find the latter to be quite strange because if they were separated for years already and he even changed his last name, I would have thought they would have at least filed for divorce prior to today. I've never been in this predicament so I'm unsure of how people typically handle situations like this so I'm not really going to comment on that aspect of this situation any further without more information.

My parents are divorced too. I don't know how it is in other countries, but here in Germany you have actually to live seperated for at least one year before you can file for divorce. But only if both partners agree. For the case one of them doesn't want the divorce you have to live seperated for three years before you can file for divorce.
My parents for example shared a lawyer (they are good friends now) because otherwise it would have been to expensive. And they told the court that they were living seperately for 9 months already so that the divorce could be finalized earlier.

I think they were separated, but not divorced 'on paper' which is why people were kind of iffy about it. It's kind of like how people say that since Mannie was married to Ayu in Las Vegas, their marriage 'wasn't valid in Japan' except in this case, the marriage was 'still valid' but they were no longer together.

Keep in mind that Maro used to use RYONRYON's last name in his work with Ayu before going back to his own given name a few years ago, so something definitely happened between them before this ever even started. I think they still work under the same dance company or whatever which is how they met to begin with?
