I can't imagine tuition that high, people here are still protesting about a rise to £9000/year.

I like her vocals, I don't think they're good, but they're... interesting. They work well in her songs and for her image.

I sometimes wonder if I like Lana, or just enjoy how interesting she is.

People are protesting about a rise to max 1200/year here...to the point that university has become free here again.

Bought Paradise today. I love it! I had only heard Ride until today.

Only thing I don't like is that unlike Born to Die, is that it had a lot more of a continuous feel throughout, almost like one long half our song (albeit a brilliant half hour song). BTD had variation.

Bought Paradise yesterday. Love Ride, American, Cola, Yayo, and Bel Air <3 (which is pretty much the entire album lol)

This. All the songs seem to have the typical strings + hip-hop back-beat going on. Of course, nothing wrong with that because the songs are pretty good. Her voice in the bridge of Ride and Cola omfg <3

Is it just me who having issues with some CD store in my country or the sound quality of Paradise is...mmm....how can I put this...like an un-recorded song she's doin. Unreleased song? You know. Mmm....I forgot what the name.
Anyway I like Body Electric, its really interesting and the atmosphere was chilling. Crazy song. In a good way.

CDON.com finally shipped my copy of the 2CD+DVD edition of the Paradise Edition. It's about time. I hope I'll get it soon because I've been trying to avoid listening the mini from Spotify but I'm very tempted to do so. XD

I bought the box, very happy about it!

But I read some reviews on Amazon about people getting a bugged one...like in the first cd (Born to Die) 3 songs are missing even though they are written as "available" in the back of the album..

Luckily I didn't get any issue =D

I hope they won't sent me a product that's missing three songs because I would be so pissed off. It's 42€ anyway so if I had to send it back I would scream in anger lol. XD

Haha, that'd be horrific. If anything it'll just be omitted like Blue Jeans. They play that song in a lot of stores here.

There are many reviews on Amazon UK about it...but yeah they said to send it back if the first cd has that problem...the missing songs are the last 3 ones of the first album's tracklist according to the angry customer's reviews.

The standard version has 12 tracks, the deluxe version 15 - so the CD they got was simply the normal version?

Yes even though in the tracklist behind the disk it's written 15 tracks =/ It didn't happen to me luckily, all my cds are fine.

I can't believe that I - as a Lana Del Rey fan - never really looked in this thread. Yeah, I knew it existed but I have kept silent. So, dear AHS: I'm joining this thread!

Anyway I love Lana Del Rey a lot, bought Paradise yesterday and I can't wait for its arrival at my house. Also my friend and I have our tickets for her concert tour, she will be performing in the Netherlands in May 2013 and we seriously would wish it was May already. She is really an unique newcomer to the music industry: I love her voice, melancholic songs and especially her videos. I had a hard time finding someone who would like to come with me to her concert, because most of the people in my environment think her music is depressing, or they don't like her face (...)

So yay for this thread!

I was finally able to start listening to The Paradise Edition as the package arrived today!

I didn't know there was a bonus remix CD, Blue Velvet Vinyl and some covers of BTD era singles in. I love my life. Totally worth the 45€ I paid for the package♥

BTD Deluxe Edition had all 15 songs in it, too. It was awesome because I'm not in the mood for sending the CD back after waiting so long for the package.

I love every song on Paradise EP. My personal favorites from the new songs are definitely American, Cola, Body Electric and Bel Air. I wasn't expecting Yayo to sound so different compared to the old version. I was expecting less differences, actually, so I still need to listen to it more. But I can say that this isn't a bad release at all. Beautiful lyrics, music and everything♥

Yeah =D The Vinyl is useless for the but all the rest is just LOVE *__* I wish there were other videos in the dvd (such as RIDE) but we can't have all can we?

And I love the picture inside of the album's digipack...it's like a paradise full of animals *_*
