14th album 'LOVE again' out February 8th, 4th of five 15th anniversary releases [II]

Now it is so obvious that LOVE and again are both not mini album and they are single. AVEX does not want ayu losing the "top-1 single queen all the time" title and changing them to mini album.

I don't know whether to be happy because I have not yet brought LOVE or again, or quite displeased because this really is robbery at its finest. :/

I like this release. I'm not going to dis it, but I think that a lot of the arguments here are understandable.

Avex has always been hungry for money, but now I think they are desperate for it. Their golden age is long gone. They no longer have any artists directly on their label that are huge sellers and that now includes ayu. Namie and exile are part of Avex, but I think the majority of sales goes to their management companies like vision factory. Avex used to have a lot more hot sellers as part of their main roster that were also directly under avexs management.

Also, seeing Wake me up and Song 4 u together on the track list is just wrong. It's as if there's been no effort put in at all...

Looking forward to Gloria though. Sounds like it could be related to glory, and therefore might turn out epic.

^ I think LOVE and again have been great so far, and since this isn't an entirely new album, I don't expect her quality to fault at all.

I'm actually glad they made it onto an album together; they deserve it.

It's just the way in which they were released prior that seems to be annoying everybody, and rightly so. It's really sad, because everyone probably would have been excited for this if it was executed differently.

Considering there are only two interludes, it seems a bit odd if Gloria is one (Ivy then You & Me?!). petal or glasses seem like more likely candidates. Also it would seem like a song titled Gloria imo would go well with both untitled for her... story 2 and Ivy rather than splitting the two up.

I wonder if Hoshino did SAKURA's composition and in a way it's loosely connected to Hana?

Wake me up and Song 4 u fit pretty well together imo. Where else would they go on the tracklist? It's reminding me of the three Bs on Secret or the lump of upbeat tracks on GUILTY.

They're both upbeat songs, but I feel as if that's kind of where their relation ends. Wake me up should have been placed in close proximity to You & Me, or snowy kiss. But, that's just a personal preference of mine, it takes me forever to make playlists because I like a certain amount of difference and relation between songs that come one after another. XD

Anyway...., I'm looking forward to this album. New ayu music is always good music and she hasn't released anything recently that would suggest otherwise.

As for the whole "mini-albums on the full album" issue... I honestly don't understand why it is such a big deal. It was almost clear these songs were going to end up in some compilation/full album later on. I mean what mini album has remixes and instrumentals? If you want to fuss over them being called mini albums or singles and whether or not they should be on Love again, fine. But this whole "I was tricked into buying these minis" thing... Really? Come on, now lol.
