That is a major concern of mine admittedly, especially as the final setlist doesn't strike me as an improvement on the one I saw, even though it's very similar. I would've loved to have seen Return Road again and other songs I missed out on like Letter and Last angel. Fingers crossed for their inclusion as bonus features or at least clips in the making of similar to the Tour of Secret DVD.

But tbh, DVD covers mean very little to me. Of her DVDs, though, my favorite is MY STORY tour. That set felt so luxurious to me haha.

as for the more conceptual cover for a concert, i remember there's one silver/monochrome with ayu wearing a white mask. that's very cool as well!

These 5 releases have just been so haphazard and don't seem well thought out at all despite what Ayu or Avex might say. Mini, mini, remix (or classical), album (which ripped off the minis) and DVD. There's no clear theme or direction. It's just held together as the 5 month countdown for her 15th anniversary.

I'm fine with the releases individually speaking but to bundle them together in this manner is kinda lame IMO.

^ like this. The order is not the best, I agree, but really does it change the content of what fans got? No. Does it change the quality of the content? No. Will you remember the order these releases came in a few months? No. Is A BEST 3 the possible conclusion of this, making "ordering" complaints seem silly? Yes.

I still smell A BEST 3, no releases on the anniversary doesn't seem to make sense. Something has to happen on that day. And it's time for the next one.

First live DVD/blu-ray I'll be buying where I actually attended the concert. Will it be a different experience watching it back knowing I had seen the tour in the flesh?

Aah, she makes a tour every year because it makes her a buttload of money, and is one of the highest-grossing activities an artist can do. If HLS was a "gift" it would be free or 1/2 the price of a regular concert lol.

Doesn't change the fact that the "5 months of new music" is now 3.5/5 new music with the most expensive item a) the last one, b) technically only "old music" because this was recorded last year, c) something we were getting regardless in 2013 because her tour is released every year anyway.

Packaging the Tour and CDL together for the price of the tour would've been considered a "gift" and also special/unique to this release set.

The "rules" for the anniversary were pretty lax "5 months of new music" but the 3rd release is just the first and second combined with a few new tracks and 1 PV - the 5th is something we'd get regardless of her 7th, 9th, 13th anniversary...... How they ended up like this is really amazing when you think about it...

What Party_King wanted to say that it was for the fans that she took the "Hotel-Concept" she first planned for 2011 Tour for the 2012 Tour. As I know it was us fans that were sad that the Hotel-Concept wasn´t released in 2011, so Ayu decides to release it on 2012 Tour.

Well, this is kind of a letdown, but I can't say I'm surprised. And it's not because I think she should've made more music, when she's done so much this year already. It's just, what was originally announced, and what we're actually getting, are two different things. And releasing a DVD that she was going to release anyway as the last "special" release??

New releases =/= New music

The press release for all of this said "new releases", and last time I checked, these weren't re-releases of I am... or poker face or whatever. Every release has brought new music, actually (and I am counting A CLASSICAL because they are in a different form). And yeah this 5mo thing ended up a bit weird but we still have all year to celebrate her 15th. She could wow is for the whole year after this lol

Just one question : I bought the 4 first releases in Japanese press, but I don't wanna buy the AT12 DVD in Japanese press because it's soooo expansive for a DVD (to me). If I buy the TW or HK press of it, can I have the "special-anniversary-thing" as well ? I know that overseas presses have the card too, but are they the same as the Japanese ones ?
