So... thoughts on Life of Sound, anyone?
I like it. It won't be taking Destination's throne as their best album anytime soon, but I thought it was a really pleasant listen. I'm still not quite over them changing their sound so radically, but they did manage to get some good results out of it; I don't think the album really had a single bad track and the best stand-out songs (Koi no Yokan, all my life and kotodama in my case) are kind of amazing. It's too bad many songs are really forgettable, though. I hope some of them will grow on me. Also, I kind of wish so pleasure and Kokuhaku had been on the album. I've fallen in love with both of them and I think they would have brought the quality level up a bit. It's sad to see the album performing weakly on the charts. I wasn't really expecting any better, but it's always a bit disheartening to see an act you're fond of struggling. |

The only songs I really liked were kotodama and Hatsuyuki. Everything else just ranged from okay to skippable. Overall, I don't really like this album, and I actually prefer Agaruneku! over this.
Also, I may be the only person who doesn't really care for Destination. The only songs I liked were the single tracks. I didn't like any of its album tracks whatsoever. |

to me , Life of Sound is somewhat a bit better than Agaruneku ! but it was quite a hard album to listen & really get into
I still think that Destination is their best sounding album to date & coming from me that has been supporting them from their debut single til now , I know what works & what doesn't work for them I suppose Life of Sound was difficult to listen cos of Every Little Thing's Igarashi Mitsuru ? Since this time round from signal until standing for you , he has been the 1 composing their stuff & not the group's Daisuke Suzuki anymore :x But it's sad that now they're not all that as before . I missed the days when for them to get top 5 for their releases each time was a norm . Now it's a luxury should that ever happen again D:

Life of Sound peaked at #56 overall in the 1st week =(
http://www.oricon.co.jp/prof/artist/...king/cd_album/ Man this's so very ... depressing , especially for me as I've been supporting them from day 1 until now & seeing them being in this state is so T___T Anyway my copy of Life of Sound came today . Does anyone want me to rip/upload the PVs ? Curious to see what the Extra ver. of all my life's PV is all about

standing for you PV - so random . The original plot was way better
Extra / alternate PV version of all my life - <3 <3 <3 . I might actually like this a lot more than the original , down the line Also my mistake , in Life of Sound , ex Every Little Thing's Igarashi Mitsuru was mainly in charge of writing the lyrics for signal , all my life & standing for you . He didn't compose anything but he co-arranged the whole album with the group And this time round , except for the singles , all lyrics were solely written by Chisa , unlike in the past where she cowrote with Kenn Kato :O

My sisters came back today from Japan & they helped me to buy loot <3
They got for me Dada Para !! (CD + DVD PV version) from Akiharbara's Book Off I can't believe my sister got this for me at 300 Yen The original price for this is 1,890 Yen , how cool's that ? + this's the only single that includes a PV they made for Destination's Yume no Katana (PV not included in Destination's DVD & in their subsequent 2 albums) & frankly , the PV was better than I expected :O Chisa looked so fierce & damn bad ass in the PV my god

That's a special edition of their self titled debut album
I'm not sure which edition was it. Probably mu-mo exclusive? I remembered TSUTAYA also released a special edition of their 1st album too

Just can't ever find it on auctions sites....u can find all the other versions though which is why I was skeptical. There's also no larger images of that cover...or pictures of the actual item. Weird. Beautiful though.

Their 1st album had 3 special editions aside from the standard CD & CD + DVD
The most commonly one I've seen being sold on auction sites is the TSUTAYA RECORDS version . The others such as mu-mo & Recochoku , hardly The difference between all the 5 editions is that for the DVD , it contained different versions of the PV for their debut single Guuzen no Kakuritsu
