[Koda Kumi] The 163rd Thread - 55th Single "Summer Trip"

The new single cover doesn't give me anything, but I can't really say anything about it. I mean, it's a pretty picture, and Kuu is hot as hell -as always- but it still doesn't feel like a single cover at all. More like a magazine shoot pic. If I even make any sense, lol. (Maybe I just need a title, somewhere.)
Preview, instead, feels amazing! It has all the potential, and IT'S NOT A BALLAD, YUHUUU!!! (sorry, I'm just so happy, lol)

And, on a different note, even if I don't like some singles, I never get worked up, because I learned long ago that for me Kuu is an album woman. I used to skip amazing stuff like Love Me Back when it was released as a single, but as soon as I heard it again in JAPONESQUE I was immediately hooked. And even if I really dislike a song, it's always more enjoyable in the album anyway (like Suki De X 3. Still hate it, but I can refrain from skipping in Dejavu because it kind of flows with the rest). She just has these nice tracklists for her albums.

I like the preview of the new song and combined to what I've heard from the Bring It On preview, the single's gonna be awesome

I like the cover too, for her metallic driving hit's eye make-up and for being simple and minimalistic, not a really typical Koda cover, I say
and I appreciate her even more for having the green hair permanent

I agree that its not the best cover in the world, I was expecting more for her birthday single. Maybe because I loved the Summer Trip covers sooooo much. However, ayu_ready? makes a good point that it is quite different from all her covers, and I can appreciate that. I do think its a hot picture. Hot as hell, really.

I really love that cover photo. It also reminds me of 3 SPLASH cover because of the simplicity. I like simple stuff so much. It's also true that this could be done for a magazine shoot. I don't really mind it though because all covers for her recent singles has been awesome♥

I think this cover is super hot. One of her best where not only is the look great, but her face is stunning. Summer Trip had her face looking jacked up. This look is so polished and modern.

It gives me more of a polished TABOO vibe.

I'm holding off on the previews. I want to hear it all in one go. I actually really didn't like Summer Trip. Of the three songs is this trap? is definitely the best for me, but even so, it's just a so so song in general imo. She's better than that single, imo.

I'd love an ero song, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. After all, Ai Otsuka released a song called "I <3 XXX" that completely defied expectations

I actually prefer Lick Me being a cutesy song, she has so many ratchet sex anthems so it was a nice surprise.
Not to mention that it's just a great song in general, i always get in such a good mood listening to it One of her best in that genre.

Oh, I remember that Lick me♥ issue so well. XD I was one of those people who thought it would be an ero kakkoii song but it wasn't. I used to be so annoyed by the fact but because it makes me smile, I just can't stop loving it. It's a awesome song♥ I think I love that remix version more though (the one she used for UNIVERSE TOUR/Dream music park).
