The AT03-04 one is still king to me. The song and feelz were still fresh for her then and it showed. idk, when she does Memorial address and ASFXX and such these days it's just too rehearsed and put-on for my taste. This is why I think the AT08 ASFXX performance is painfully overrated lol. But I loved Memorial address at A BEST LIVE sooooo idkkk...

I agree, I feel like every Memorial address performance since then has been modeled after the "original" haha but I still enjoy them.
But I love A Song for XX anywhere anytime. I need to go back and watch her 2002 tours again. I feel like I've only watched them in entirety once, but in pieces many times haha. I loved the shots of the audience for Stadium Tour. It's so... 2002 hahaha.

OOOPS lmao. Zeke, your post just made me realize I totally accidentally said the AT08 performance of ASFXX when I meant the a-nation one. I didn't even know she did ASFXX at AT08. 0_o
I don't remember the AT10 or ABL performances of Memorial address in detail, but I remember finding the AT10 one too rehearsed and actually being surprised at how genuine her tears in the ABL one seemed in comparison. Or maybe I'm thinking of ASFXX? idk, I just remember one of those two songs at A BEST LIVE seemed much more genuine and less rehearsed/put-on than they usually do lmao |

For me the a-nation and AT08 performances are identical except for the rain, both feel too rehearsed and forced, the A BEST LIVE one even worse. The one from the Dome Tour otoh always gives me chills, even if the vocals weren't good they were sincere and even a bit desperate.

OK, I rewatched both ASFXX and Memorial address and it was definitely Memorial address I was thinking of. ASFXX was as rehearsed and forced as she always does nowadays, but her mannerisms in Memorial address, particularly in the first part of the song, just felt really genuine to me. She actually looked kinda pissed lmao. The vocals were better at AT10, but the acting was really... hammy imo.
The Dome Tour performance of ASFXX will SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY forever. |

 I'm kind of curious to know which song of Ayu's is her least favorite. XD ok... I kind of can't believe I'm about to say this, but am I the only one who finds Who... painful to listen to? In a sense, it's a beautiful song. But...it just drags on and on. I've tried multiple times to get into it and it's just not going. Now... the version on A Ballads is a step up to me. Well damn, now I've had to watch all Ayu's A Song for xx performances! I love the arrangement and vocals on A Nation 08. Dome Tour has such attitude and A Museum actually with that opening.

My favorite ASFXX is the one in A MUSEUM, the dancers are there but idk they're not like the ones in A BEST LIVE and her dress is awesome!
The one in a-nation is also cool, and the rain just made it even better

I wonder if we'll ever get a version of Glitter (K-Club Remix) that doesn't sound like it was recorded with a toaster. Honestly, there are more states in the USA than there are kilobytes in the only mp3 we have of that song.

^ i agree with you on that, but i do like the way she looks like a plastic doll LOL i love that when watching the Blu-Ray 1080p rip you can even think she has no pores at all.

that memorial address performance from A BEST LIVE hit me in the feels right away, because the way she was in the first part of it totally made me go back to that 2000 CDL where she had that huge red dress with the bow. It was my very first and most favourite to this day performance of hers. Will never get tired of it. The genuinely in it just overflows.
