I'm going to go out on a limb and say this single will be a nice return to form. I know we have just 15s previews for Zutto... and Last minute, but I think these songs will actually be what we've been waiting to hear for a few years now.

I won't listen to Last minute until release. I've broken the bubble by listening to Zutto... which brought me back down to earth with my expectations.
It is true that I don't mind when Ayu recycles material, as long as the recycled material is either just as good or better than the material from the past that she drew from. For example, No way to say, momentum, and Days are all winter ballads yet they all have different atmosphere's and work perfectly for different types of winter scenery. They are all an "ace" in my book, but in my opinion all sound truly original in some way, shape or form.
We will see when the final product is released, but, as it stands right now, the song lacks power, and THAT's what I look for in a grand and true winter ballad.
Actually, the best way for me to describe this is that this sounds less like classic-Ayu,
and more like a very basic KANA NISHINO type of track. Less of Ayu and more of Kana's "let me just sing this simple ballad sweetly". There's a fine line there. Ayu's ballads and/or greatest songs, always come with a bit of drama. Kana seriously is void of any sort of dramatics, and therefore, Zutto..., which sounds very straight-forward, comes off as a simple track that would suit Kana much better. Imagine Kana singing this and you'll know what I mean.
