Ever since I found out that Spain failed and called her Ayima I've been gravitating toward calling her Ayima. Ayuma is cute but it's getting tired. Her name seems to evolve in an interesting way. What's next? Oyomo Mamachaki? Aleeka Lavantacki? That's how nicknames are born and change.

^her voice is seriously terrible in it. It does not sound at home with the arrangement at all. What a change from years back when her voice sounded positively at home within the trance genre.

Obviously you didn't read the list. Half of the songs are from the 80s and 90s. Even a few from the 70s.

^ Party Queen was rated NC16 as well. Meanwhile R'n'RC was PG.

Just as a note, Party Queen got that rating because of the how beautiful you are PV, not the cover.
Homosexual content in Singapore = controversial. It's the worst. Kuu's BEST ~second session~ got an M18 rating because of the Ima Sugu Hoshii PV

Same here. Even tho I get why everyone love some songs like alterna, I myself don't really care much for them

Is the re-sung versions of Trust and Depend on You from A Best any good? I'm wondering because I just can't find them anywhere to listen to and I'm curious. I've listened to A Song for XX from A Best and I like it decently.

Step by step in full is so goooooooood. Kind of unsure about some of the synth strings though, lol.

Listening to Out of control again after learning of the setlist change, and I got reminded what a good song it is. A 'matured' version of call and letter.
Still tho I don't see this song replacing the darkness of (m)u

Out of control is one of my favorite tracks from A ONE. I'm sad she decided to replace (miss)understood though.

HEAVEN wasn't performed on this tour.
Also...a big NO to ayu singing in English. Why would yall want a namie-like mess?

I have more faith in ayu's English if she were to get a great vocal director or whatever. Also like Andrenekoi said I'm 100% sure Ayu knows what she's saying. She should make an English song for shits and giggles. Lelio 2.

Step by step really has such a lifeless arrangement. The song itself sounds like a fan add "full version" where the same 45 second clip is looped together for an extended period of time. There is very little chance for longevity with this track. I've listened to preview clips like maybe 3 times maximum and now I just listened to the official release and I'm already sick of it.
I miss when her arrangements for summer songs had multiple elements to them. fairyland has that warm, liquidy bouncing ball of sound in the background, and the rest of the layers kind of mirror that motion of sound. Really, it's so well put together that the layers of sound actually paint a picture, so rich that you can actually envision the sound moving and "see" each layer of sound as a separate hue that aids in creating a larger picture. |
