Gold star stan, I knew that the song was a cover of a male's song and that Kuu's part was new. However, as it was mentioned, since DJ Hasebe produced the song, its more of an "answer song", in a way.

I didn't know it was a cover either, but then again I'm not surprised, I'm pretty sure half of her discography is covers, collaborations, and unreleased demos from American and European artists (such as sometimes dreams come true, physical thing, and Can we go back).

And it makes total sense that it's a cover, since it's a 90's song. I kept telling all my friends how incredibly 90's ima sugu hoshii sounded. This just proves that I was right.

Hm, what?
Covers are just a pretty small percentage of her discography.
And she probably has a smuch japanese written songs as bought western demos.
And if demos, which are bought, are western or japanese, doesn't really make much of a difference. It's common in the music industry. Heck, we don't even know, which japanese songs were speficially written for her or "just" bought as well. And the other way round. Demos are made to sell a song, no matter if it's in the East or West.
Don't know, if you meant it like that, but you're sounding as this is something bad.

On another note I'm so happy about three full a-nation dates! This is so great, especially after last year, where she just made one a-nation date overseas and none in Japan.

I'm fine with her buying western demos, Under and BUT are clear reasons why. Plus, she always re-write lyrics when the song comes from the West (which Namie has stopped paying someone to do it for her lol), sometimes even changes the song in many ways (like So Nice), so it's not like she simply got the song and resung it. But who cares at all in the end, almost all her covers are also great imo

Agreed! Her summer schedule this year seems pretty similar to 2013 with the tour final in June, a-nation and a-nation island in August. Would be icing on the cake if she scheduled a TV performance or two! Hoping she'll do NTV's The Music Day on July 4th.

There is also TOKAI SUMMIT ’15, and she will probably do more summer festivals as usual.
