Oh I see. Thanks for clarifying! Hope she performs on THE LIVE as well but I doubt it. This will probably be the only TV performance she does for the end the year shows anyway...

On the bright side Kuu's performance from the Rock festival in September will air in about a week.

Many artistes will be performing for both 2015 FNS Kayousai & 2015 FNS Kayousai THE LIVE separately

I know KODA KUMI 15th Anniversary LIVE The Artist will take place next month , just that I forgotten the dates lol

You never know , she might perform at 2015 FNS Kayousai THE LIVE cos the performers list for both shows have not been finalised yet

Somemore details on 2015 FNS Kayousai

2015 FNS Kayousai will take place in Tokyo's Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa on 2nd Dec . This will not be a live broadcast unlike 2 weeks later for 2015 FNS Kayousai THE LIVE where it will have a concert like format

Moritaka Chisato & Unjash's Watabe Ken will be the hosts for both shows

Thanks God the encore outfit is not hideous as usual Funny that they picked mostly album tracks for the trailer instead of her hits. I guess they went for the performances more than the songs themselves, contrary to what they did with ayu's tour this year

For now my most probable guess for a new release is that we will get an announcement of a new album next year at her anniversary lives.

If they want to revive Kuu a bit for the general public, rock might be a good idea.
She could perform a new rockier song on Tv and playing the guitar herself a bit in it.
Considering how well received rock bands like Mr.Children and B'z and in general (classic) rock are in Japan, this might help her in the public eye.
But this is also just an idea I'd personally like. Show everybody what you're capable of, Kumi!

That would be an amazing idea indeed! At least to me it looks like Kuu worked better/more naturally with the guitar than the piano and drums, so if she really went for it she could perform it on the TV! Plus, I also enjoy her rock a lot so I'd totally love it hahahahah I am really ansious to see what her next era is gonna be like, hope we can get a glimpse of it on THE ARTIST

Rock was her genre this year for the most part, she's good at it but it's definitely not her best in my opinion, she has better styles. I think what she needs now is a sassy and fresh hit like Cutie Honey, Butterfly, show girl, Chase. with awesome choreo and concept. that could get attention from more people

I don't think rock would be a good choice either because I think not all fans wants that. Also, in my opinion, she is not a natural rock star kind of singer like Ayu for example. I prefer Kuu doing some badass urban/dance/r&b tracks instead. With those kind of songs she's at her best.
