I think she should've just done a slow / fast version like Sunrise / Sunset. When the drums start about 2 minutes in, that should just be the start of the fast version. Still, I don't regret preordering the single.

Has anyone here ever purchased tickets to one of her concerts before?

I'm trying to see if I can make it to one of the finale shows for TA 2016 Tour, and I realized that Namie is playing in Tokyo the day after. It looks like they wrapped up the lottery, but haven't opened up general tickets yet -- but I can't really tell. And I can't really tell what service I would even be able to get tickets through after. Any advice appreciated!

Do you have a friend in Japan that can provide their residential address? You need that if you are directly ordering tickets. You could go through resellers or maybe someone posts their unwanted tickets on Yahoo auctions but its much harder.

Thanks! I take it an actual, physical address -- not like TENSO, right? Unfortunately I don't know anybody who's there anymore. Guess I'll be searching the re-seller shops if I make it there.

The tickets are digital. You won't be able to get them at a reseller shop like you can with most other concerts.

Thanks for the clarification. So to that end, would I be able to order them online and just use my Tenso address, do you think? Are hers sold through a certain vendor?

I've only ever got tickets to Ayu shows, from Yahoo or through iFlyer, so Namie's process is totally new to me.

The key visual of LIVE STYLE 88 is so amazing! She looks GORGEOUS in every picture (as always), the color palette is very classy and that A4 poster with her drawing is one of the best artist goodies I've ever seen! <3 And I want that round towel (I'm wondering if this kind of towel is trending in Japan right now cuz Koda have a similar one).

Hero is just ok to me, but I prefer that the pace picks up after 2 minutes. Either way, I think it would have been equally generic sounding.

Out of her last 3 singles, the only song I enjoyed at least a little was Mint, but it's not like I had it on repeat or anything. I haven't truly enjoyed one of Namie's releases since BRIGHTER DAY. _genic was lackluster and it went downhill from there for me. Hero and the b-side are still fresh, so it's possible they'll grow on me. But I'm not holding my breath. I'm glad others like the releases though.

I didn't enjoy Mint all that much, but Hero has been stuck in my head all day. The B-Side is skippable though.

Hero debuted #6 in Oricon. In recochoku Hero #1 and Show Me What You've Got #3

I think Hero got position 6 for it's first day because the group against her has quiet good sales..number 3 got 29k, maybe 4 and 5 got around 15k, so I think Hero sold around 12k in first day which is good for a single.

^ I can see that happening for sure. In fact, I'll be a little ticked if it's not. xD I mean, I'm definitely not a fan of Show Me What You Got but it's a fun song and so is Chit Chat. They need to be performed together!
