It's always so easy to criticise the people who work on melodies and/or lyrics of songs

Besides radio rips do not necessary do justice to the eventual CD studio versions of songs

Maybe the videos for Dear Diary & Fighter might double up or double down opinions further I don't know

It's the only song I find to be tolerable. Every other single released and it's b-side have been mediocre if not, terrible (imo). I suppose it's also because my music taste is very "Westernized" anyways so I was hoping she would keep with the FEEL/_genic trend.

Its an okay song...but the type of song I usually enjoy less of her: harder hitting in terms of beats and on the verge to rock (like Damge)

I really like Fighter actually The part before the 2nd chorus is a bit much, but still. I love how she sings 'Fi-i-i-ighter'. And Dear Diary is lovely. I love her voice in songs like this. Especially the subtle emotion in her voice during the "You know all my secrets..." part.

There's something about "Fighter" that reminds me of "Supernatural Love" but the verses seem more scattered. I think the chorus will sound boss in hq.

"Dear Diary" on the other hand is instant love. One of my favourite Namie ballads ever.

I dunno why they described Fighter as an aggressive dance track. lol It's such a snooze fest! Also it's not even remotely close to what Damage was, i dunno what some of you are even hearing the same in this. Damage was awesome for my ears. This is your typical westernized boring EDM. Dear diary on the other hand sounds really lovely!
