She will likely not get involved.

At the most she will be around to make a song for it. Namie will probably be the female soloist that represents people.. or Utada.

I can see AKB being asked or Hatsune Miku being there as a gimmick.

I don't think Ayu have the appealing to do an event this huge. They'll probably go with more visual/exotic/weird artists that can entertain a worldwide audience.

Nope, I can't believe it. For me the gap between her debut to her 10th anniversary feels a lot bigger than the one from her 10th to now.
I discovered her around A COMPLETE and it feels like yesterday.

One of my most vivid memories is how we'd get updates on the first/second/third day sales back when she'd release singles. Also the TV performances.
I think I was disappointed that she only got 2 magazine covers for this single, haha.

ten years.... damn. I remember clearly when that came out. That song was my jam for a good week until I over-listened to it. Still know all the words by heart. Never did like the cover though.

Same! Except I do like the cover, I love Ayu's edgy looks lol. talkin' 2 myself is still in my top 5 fave songs by her though. It's such a bop. And I love the random dance that goes along with it

I love this era because it was such a opposite aesthetic and concept from glitter/fated! Her hair were different, the covers were amazing and she had the amazing choreography for the PVs and for the TV lives! I live for this era. <3

Wow... Time goes really fast... Ten years...that was still during my first year of J-pop! But I was a bit skeptical at first why would Ayu cut her long hair that she had when I first got interested into her...but now I've pretty much learned the lesson - it's whatever she feels about her hairdo, we'll have to deal with it. (Then again, Ayu's hair is short as of now...)

(And I was getting started with high school at that time...)

Speaking about the Olympics, there was a poll on 2015 about who japanese people wanted in the opening act, and Ayumi was at 27th place

talkin 2 myself is a much loved single for me. I also have over played this song a bit but I still listen to it regularly these days. I love when Ayu does hard rock songs. I have mixed feelings on the cover art. I like everything but Ayu's face. I don't know if it is photoshop or just her expression but I don't love it. I like the other versions better.
10 years ago was also around the time when I decided to explore Ayu further and become a more devoted fan. The 10th anniversary era will always be one of my favorites.

So.. does anyone have the transcript/english translation of her all night radio thingy and her long rockin on japan interview? Cause the website that masa's translation was on doesnt exist anymore I recently wanted to re-read it but couldnt
