Both Kira and eill just released new songs as digital singles!

KIRA - Lovin' You

eill - FAKE LOVE

Both songs are good, I'm happy.

After several years, I listened to Freedom from GIRL NEXT DOOR. My love for this song didn't decrease. That's their best song.

100% agree . I remembered being so blown away when they came up with Freedom back when it was 1st released

Destination is still my favourite GND album after all these years

I regret not attending any of their concert/s before they disbanded ._.

These posts also got me to listen to Freedom (and a few other GND songs) for the first time in years. They really did have some great songs, I think I agree that Freedom is the best one.

^ Freedom was around the time when avex started to spend less to promote GND which's evident as their 2008 to 2009 single PVs and albums PVs from their 1st 2 albums were very expensive & well put together

And for Freedom , the PV showed that they didn't need to make an over the top video to spread the message that the song itself was and is still great

Ironically their only #1 single in their discography is not a favourite song of mine

^ You mean Infinity? I love that song, I don't mind that it's their only #1 at all.

I think I got into them when Destination was released so I never really experienced their big budget period. Freedom was a big reason that I started liking them at all; such an impressive song at the beginning of the album convinced me that they were worth listening to and kept me coming back.

Yes , I'm not a fan of Infinity x)

I was a fan of GND from their debut until their disbandment so I easily saw how much $ avex spent on them especially on the PVs they put out during 2008 to 2009

2008 to 2009 was also where they went overseas to shoot a lot of their PVs especially their 1st 3 single PVs where they went US and London to get them done

While for Jump! , they filmed it in New York

Not just that , even the branded clothes they were styled & dressed in , some of the biggest names in fashion were part of it , until they even list down their names at the back of each of their release's credits too

Honestly? It's hard for me to ever find anything i would like in k-pop, cuz everyone sounds and looks the same. BUT. I'm not sure how i missed these guys. They seem to be quite new, so probably that's why. The vocals are amazing and certainly not very typical and it's A BAND. Finding a band amongst k-pop groups is like finding a freaking unicorn amongst horses, they are so rare. THEY ARE JUST SOOOO GOOD~

Happy to see so much love for Freedom.
That's funny how some music can mark your life then you left it in the closet for years and suddenly you dust it and you fall in love once again ♥

That's true thanks for bringing that up xD

Last week Kiyoharu organised 2 live stream session with his fans via ZAIKO and I was shocked how expensive each premium e-ticket cost was ie. 7,000 Yen

But the upside was the video quality for both Kiyoharu sessions were extremely good , Blu-ray quality :O

Sure beats SHOWROOM which's even worst than Nico Nico Nama and the SHOWROOM video footages are just downright bad , if you're a premium member or not

Oh wow! I knew he was very successful and popular but didn't realise he was this massive. It's kind of exciting to have another million-seller in this day. Congrats to Kenshi!

Is anyone here into Awich? A friend of mine recommended me her last album, KUJAKU, and I loved it. She's not bout to release an EP, Partition, later this month and two tracks are out already, Bad Bad and Shook Shook, and both are really great!
