Hearing some bad news regarding one of the members...

Rumors are saying (source is Shuukan Bunshun tabloid) that Okamoto Keito could be leaving Hey! Say! JUMP. WHOA.

Okamoto is member of the Hey! Say! 7 subunit, which is down to four after Morimoto Ryutaro left following the underage smoking scandal. If Keito leaves, that subunit will go down to three (the Hey! Say! BEST subunit is still intact at five).

Wow, I'm shocked at this. I didn't expect this to happen.

I wouldn't be surprised & sounds like this might be true . Don't forget having 9 members in a group , tensions will bound to happen if there's none then I will be even more surprised

Yamada , Chinen & Daiki are the main crowd fans drawers in HSJ . I'm not surprised if Okamoto are not in good terms with either 1 of them in private especially Yamada

Also tabloids in recent times have reported Okamoto not to be as squeaky clean as what might assume , same thing goes for Inoo

Okamoto might follow in his dad's footsteps where both remind in J&A but we'll see

Wow, a new single. Releasing on the same day as Leo Ieiri's (which I have ordered), but I'm not sure if I want to order it amidst the Keito Okamoto rumors. Considering how long in advance cover shots are done, and Johnny's haven't officially announced any word on Keito Okamoto, this could be interesting...

Even if Okamoto does leave at the end of the month , that should not stop you from continuing to support HSJ isn't it ?

Seems like your mentality in thinking is shallow , just because of 1 particular person that might leave the group

KAT-TUN if not NEWS lost several members over the years which's a really horrible feeling but that didn't stop long time fans from continuing to support them

You should have that same mindset too . If everyone all thinks like you , then both KAT-TUN & NEWS would have disbanded a long time ago

HSJ will be doing a tour later on this year without Okamoto & it's not mentioned how long Okamoto will be studying in New York for

Seems like Okamoto will be still part of HSJ after his eventual return from New York

...what a sigh of relief that is. It turns out Keito isn't going to leave HSJ after all. Keito said that he dropped out from Sophia University, but I'm glad he gets another opportunity at education - this time stateside in New York! We wish Okamoto-san does well during his time in NY starting later this fall.

You make it sound as if it's the end of HSJ just because Okamoto will be leaving temporarily to pursue his studies overseas

It's already stated that the reminding 8 members will continue on with group related activities

1st you're so sales obsessed focused & now Okamoto will leave HSJ temporarily , you claim you will stop supporting them ? Wow that's unreal

In future , please don't react as though you will be surprised if Okamoto will end up on what happened to ex KAT-TUN's Akanishi

And everyone all knows what happened when Akanishi came back from USA , his attitude changed for the worst and he became a completely different person

Newspaper article talking about Okamoto's plans to study in New York

Okamoto told J&A he wanted to study abroad in March. He also discussed with the members. He went to NYC at the end of May to do an audition for the Academy and was accepted into the 2 year programme. He is going to learn various things like dance, vocal training, etc.

Hey! Say! JUMP's Okamoto Keito to study abroad in the U.S.

Hey! Say! JUMP member Okamoto Keito will be studying abroad in the United States beginning September.

In a video posted on the group's fan club site, it was announced that Okamoto would be attending The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in order to study acting, music, and English. He commented, "I will study hard in order to show everyone my growth, and I will definitely return to Hey! Say! JUMP."

The other members accepted Okamoto's decision to study abroad as he said he would be returning to the group upon finishing his studies. The group is scheduled to release their new single "COSMIC☆HUMAN" on August 1. Okamoto will be involved in any TV appearances related to the single. Furthermore, this year's concert tour will be held with only eight members.

Not surprisingly , Okamoto is the only 1 that spoke English in the clip . Nakajima's wish for Tanabata is quite funny but at least it's quite realistic , Yamada's wish is a bit out of reach
