Thoughts on Alterna PV

I know not many have seen it yet, but once you do, please post your thoughts here.

I think this PV might split people quite a bit, kind of like Ourselves did. To me this is one of Ayu's most sick, disturbing and AMAZING PVs ever. I loved every second of it and I think the song itself is far superior to fairyland.

The PV actually reminded me of a Bjork video in all of it's weirdness. Also the guy in the video, I could swear that Ayumi hired the main villian in the movie "House of 1000 Corpses" just to play the representation of her record company in this video - I really think it's the same guy.

Well, The PV wasn´t my style at all but the music was good ^^ But comparing with fairyland, then I would choose fairyland

I think it's an awesome PV, definitely one of her best. Also very different from her previous stuff. It kinda reminded me of a darker/more evil (and better) version of the Real me PV.
The song was ok I guess. Lol, I didn't actually listen very carefully to it. I was completely focussed on the PV.

I was still wondering wheter or not I should buy the single, but after seeing this PV, I think I have to visit YesAsia again.

I was planning on buying the single, but I was going to wait a little while. Now I'm going to pre-order it.

Also, I think it'll be easier to listen to the song once we get a higher quality file.

I don't know what to say. It's so ... O.O I'm really shocked. Normally Ayu's PVs are really cutsie and innocent and touching and this one was just SHOCKING. I swear my jaw dropped at least 3 times throughout the whole video. I honestly don't know what to think. It's obviously very symbolic. I LOVE the song, but the video is... 0.0 i still don't know. most of the time I was like, WTF?! and the rest of the time just kind of like, ? I don't know. Maybe because I'm watching it at 4:30 in the morning...>,< I'll sleep on it and comment again later. Because right now I honestly don't know what to say. There really is No way to say. No more words. (XD Sorry, a bit of late night/early morning humour.) O.O

the PV reminds me ourselves PV

The PV is cool but,the atmosphere is special, I prefer that of ourselves, alterna's atmosphere is really glaucous, but she innovates

Finally i like the song

I love the new PV! I really like the style of the video, it's kind of dark. I loved the 'freak show' where Ayu is presented as a singing machine ("almost human!"). This PV reminds me a bit of Franz Ferdinand's music videos.
By the way, is that an eyeball in Ayu's mouth?

I love the video! People who say she's lost the "cool" factor are wrong now. xD The song is totally hot, and the video is creative and unusual. She is trying to do something new, and this indeed, is very new for her. =D I like it better than fairyland. I think that this song on the single doesn't fit, since its so dark compared to fairyland. But oh well. (:

Wow... The PV was just jaw-dropping. I never expected anything like this. It's so dark, weird and creepy. And the mood is just... I can't compare the mood of this video with any of her past PVs. It's the most shocking video of ayu i have seen. Those creepy clown dudes, the ayu in white, the singing machine/s, the tambourine-playing hands... it's just shocking yet simplya amazing. I agree with the previous posts. She is an innovator.
About the song. It's alright. Nice Ayu song. Not my favorite of her 4 2005 songs but it shows how dynamic ayu as an artist is. A great contrast to fairyland. Polar opposites. fairyland is like the "singing machine" ayu shown in the alterna PV.
The PV clearly and explicitly shows how Ayu perceives herself as... and it's so sad that she sees herself in that light. We willnever forget you, Ayu

lol. Yeah it is kind of shocking, but I don't think it is THAT far off from some of her darker PVs like Ourselves and Because of You or even Is This Love? Also, Ayumi has always had a morbid side to her.

Take a look at Trauma - completely happy sounding song with depressing lyrics that don't fit the music at all, yet Ayu runs around on stage like she is singing the happiest song on earth, hahaha. Like she told us in the Step You video - there are 4 parts to her personality and this is the dark/morbid Ayu. lol.

Because the Japanese public would have been running through the streets screaming, "What the hell happened to our cute Ayu?!?!"

I don't know but the feeling the PV gave me is just scary ^^; it's really dark and when someone explains all the symbols then maybe I'll feel different about the PV. Ayu's white looks reminded me of Madonna o_O and I think some elements in the PV are just disturbing and scary ^^; it also reminds me of "ourselves" and "Because of You" PVs. I don't really like the PV, I don't see it as "Ayu style" but it's new, so I'll start feeling like that later? Song sounds good, but with a dark PV like this along with it, it scares me kinda... I don't know, can't really put it into words :s

It's *******ing scary. Anyone else a tad bit Coulrophobic?

It reminded me of Bjork too, but it was a pretty well done PV. I really liked some of the shots, which went really well with the song. And to my surprise, I like the song, other than the dragged out outro.

I really like the scene where she's painted white too, because she doesn't have all that black eye-liner she usually wears. (Well, it's close enough to the way she used to look!)

The PV really made me think...

The video was...It made me go uhhhh? Cause it's so so different from her usual style. I wasn't expecting anything like this. But it is a cool PV. And I liked the song.

The marionette Ayu...The singing machine. And congrats you're the stars. I think the misspelling is on purpose(stars). she's just a face in the world and nobody notices the real her(in the end of the video, that broken marionette/robot)

edit: plus the clowns...(directors, managers, photographers). the world of the music is a circus...

It's a cool video, very different from her previous pvs. Although it has robot-thingy like Real Me pv, the feeling and the way it's brought out is totally different. Yes the part where ayu's tongue came out looking weird (was it even a tongue in the first place?) was pretty disturbing, but I'll just take it as something different from her previous works. The dollish ayu is hell adorable, she really has the look of a lolita doll. And by the way, this song rocks!
