Does anyone know how to read the quoted time? "1230 / 1630 GMT." I would like to know what it is converted to Pacific time (GTM-8).. Thank you!

The difference between GMT and GMT-8 is simple, it is just what it says, math.

So if it starts 12:30 GMT, to have it in GMT-8 time all you do is subtract 8 from 12:30.

12:30 - 8 = 6:30 in GMT-8.

16:30 is the same as 4:30 PM, 24 hour system.

Shouldn't it be: 12:30 - 8 = 4:30 in GMT-8? Unless...my math is wrong. xD

Thanks for record it ! I can watch cnn international too but can't record it. But i'm not sure at all at what time is it in Spain...I've read the information in cnn international website and I'm still a bit confused.

the whole schedule on CNN International website is a bit... odd... they say it's 2 hours difference between Greenwich Mean Time [GMT] and Central European Time [CET], while it's in fact 1 hour...

I'm gonna have to spend the whole day waiting for that interview, or else I will just miss it! (I'm pretty talented at it)

Everyone's complaining about the dubbing... it's not a pre-scripted dub. It'll be the voice of the translator, talking as ayu talks with a slight delay so she can listen & translate. The only CNNI Interview i've seen was Faye Wong's. That's how it's done. They're treating it like any foreign language on the news; dubbing it with a translator as the talking is going on. So that's just how it is. The translator is in the studio as the interview is taking place. They translate the interviewer for the celebrity, and then translate the celebrity for the viewers.

OMG I will miss it ! I haven't CNN !! But I think that's great that Ayu will be on an international TV Show, maybe she will announce her Asian Tour and why not a World Tour ? (i know that i'm dreaming but we don't know what can happen ! xD)

Don't worry! Talk Asia (today is the interview with Ken Hirai) hasn't aired yet and the program will start in ~35 minutes, because the air time is 12.30 GMT. I just saw the ad where they also showed some part of the interview with him, some clips from PV's and also said the air time

And since you are in Germany your time zone is GMT+1 (like mine, in Spain), and that's 13.30

*BTW, if you can record and upload today's interview that would be great, because i just have one crappy VCR and the quality of my recording would suck :/

Sorry about saying that it's 6:30 and thanks for correcting me, the time is in fact 4:30, my math was a bit messed up at the time .

I don't understand the 12:30-16:30 thingy either.
