hmm shocked B&D isn't on there seeing as how that was definately one of her hugely popular songs off (m)u in Japan.

something seems suspicious about this...is it normal for them to release tracklists that include songs that haven't been titled? I would think that the new song would be named before they would release the tracklist...hmm gould be wrong though.

Overall, i do think that most of the songs were expected...however what's About You about? that's very odd.

No Bold & Delicious. Doesn't really surprise me. I'm glad HANABI ~episode II~ is included (thought they might not have all the & songs).

yay!! I'm pleased with both tracklists! I'm throwing a party tonight for the absence of "B&D". srsly. im so happy. :p not that i hate the song... i just dont want to EVER see it near anything with "best" in the title. hehe.

but yes! im very excited and expect to get black first.. then white later on. wee!

I'm actually quite shocked that About You is on the tracklist... but either ayu really likes it, or the fans really like it (after all the fans in JPN voted MY STORY as the best album). For alterna, probly JPN people don't like it that much, so that's why avex doesn't put this one..

I wonder if daybreak is the original version or HAL's MIX 2002 version...?
and I kinda wish she would put "I am..." there.. I love that song so much..

I can't remember, but there was a thread sometime ago regarding a japanese online poll regarding which ayu album was the best (from A Song for xx --> (m)u). Lots of people chose MY STORY as the best one.

Actually I shouldn't say "All the fans in JPN"... should change to "many fans" LOL. Didn't realize what I type

ARGH. The album was stuff UP UNTIL THE BOLD & DELICIOUS SINGLE

Bold & Delicious was released AFTER (miss)understood so no (m)u album tracks would be put on ABEST2

good thing that the songs in these albums are from evolution- Bold & delicious hopefully people will still buy the secret album. I am hoping that she doesn't rearrange or add new vocal in any of the songs in the tracklist.

Also, although I love Dearest to pieces and it is surely one of her greatest songs, it's already on A Ballads. I would have liked it if they had put a different song in its place.

Since Dearest was already on A BALLADS (as was Voyage), maybe they're doing special mixes or re-recordings for these? It just seems redundant to have them both on two BEST albums (as I consider BALLADS a best).

Well, I like the song selection; thanks ot the color-coding, you can tell it's pretty evenly distributed. But with official PVs ALREADY out, BLACK is only missing "HANABI" and "NEVER EVER"; while WHITE is missing "July 1st", "independent", "UNITE!", and "A Song is born".

To be honest, I never would have thought of A Song is born.

The CD tracklist is pretty good! Some are suprising and some I'm like "YES! Totally belongs there!"
