Hey! Say! JUMP to release double A-side single in February

It's been revealed that Hey! Say! JUMP will release their new single "AinoArika / Aisureba Motto Happy Life" on February 5th.

"AinoArika / Aisureba Motto Happy Life" will be the boys' 12th single.

"AinoAkika" is described as a spectacular number that sounds like it would be used as the theme song for a sci-fi movie or a RPG. It will be used as the theme song for the TBS drama 'Dark System: Koi no Ohza Ketteisen' (premieres January 20th). The drama stars members Yaotome Hikaru and Inoo Kei.

Meanwhile, "Aisureba Motto Happy Life" is said to be an uptempo tune that's written and composed by Kawaura Masahiro, who's known for composing AKB48's "Ue Kara Mariko".

The single will be released in 4 different versions: Limited Edition 1, Limited Edition 2, Limited Edition 3, and Regular Edition. Limited Editions 1 and 2 will come with DVDs including the PV and making for "AinoArika" and "Aisureba Motto Happy Life" respectively. Limited Edition 3 and Regular Edition will contain different coupling tracks.

Hey! Say! JUMP's 11th single tops Oricon weekly chart

Hey! Say! JUMP's 11th single "Ride With Me" (released on December 25) sold 163,000 copies during the first week, topping Oricon's latest weekly ranking.

This is the group's 11th consecutive chart-topping single since their debut song "Ultra Music Power" (released in November 2007).

The title track "Ride With Me" was used as the theme song for NTV's special drama "Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Gokumonjuku Satsujin Jiken" (aired on January 4) which two of the group members Yamada Ryosuke and Arioka Daiki appeared.

It seems like AinoArika is a happy song. It sounds not so clear and very very low volume. The chorus is lovely.


About Ride With Me, I love the chorus and verses but the rap part is meh. They should use autotune or some effects on that part. BTW, this is the first song that I can differentiate all members' voices clearly. lol

Unlike Kis-My-Ft2 (cough Busaiku cough) , I like that each of them wear different outfits in the Ride With Me PV , even though it's very evident that Yamada is the main spotlight drawer in the group

No, JUMParty DVD and special pictures are the campaign that you have to enter the code behind the obi of each CD in the mobile site (http://js-cp.jp/hsj_aiai/). The 10,000 winners of the DVD are randomly selected. However, you can get a special picture 1 picture/1 code (or 1 CD), there are 4 pictures for each member which means there will be 36 pictures in total.
