Apparently Jessica went back to her Musical activities today, even greeting fans at the door after the performance...so she's still working really hard.

It's really funny to see those comments. Back then I only listened to BoA and Crying Nut (bizzare combo I know) so I never ventured out to look up new artists. If I did, I wonder if I would've been an early days fan too and not just jumped on in 2009?

Oh well xD I bet some of those naysayers did become fans after they debuted - you really can't judge a group til after they've had a few songs out I think....

On another note. They've been gone on the Korean front since 2010 and we've been begging for them back and as soon as they return all you hear now is, "Poor girls", "They need to rest!", "SM is killing my maknae and my unnies!", "Save them jesus for SM has sinned!".

It's the same exact thing as last time. I haven't been here long but I'm already tired of this repeat and done cycle. Let them worry about their Zzz's. They're not worried about your wallets. This is what they voluntarily auditioned for and wanted to do. I don't feel bad or sorry for them.

Start feeling sorry for them when they get all the time in the world to slow down because that will mean their careers are over and they will be very well rested and unemployed.

While I agree we are hearing more of their live singing. It's not all live. It's a mixture of both and in some areas just less backtrack and I'm also inclined to believe they rerecorded some parts to make you believe it is live because it sounds different and is less polished.

Also, in the first video on this page at Jessica's part where she goess NA! and throws her hand up. It shows her throwing the wrong hand up and then the camera zooms out and her other hand is up. 2 performances spliced together?

Also did you see after their acceptance speech and the music started up and they were expected to sing and Sooyoung looked terrified and she started singing and you could hardly hear her try. That was LIVE. The livest you have ever heard that girl. Is that how they sound during the actual performances? No. That is how you know it isn't 100% live.

Also I just looked at some reaction videos and I one group of fans started doing the fan chant and I could clearly one of the words to be SARANGHAE.

Also apparently some people think you pronounce SONE as SO-WUN.

IMO It always sounds like Sunny is lipsyncing. Jessica I can't figure out because it sounds SOO much like the CD, I can't see if she's singing live or its lipsync.

What the hell happened to Sooyoung in that clip? She seriously looked terrified and like you said, didn't even try. She didn't even dance right away. It looks like the audience is full of monsters or something, she's practically hiding, and I KNOW the can sing, I've heard her live (acapella) before, and that was good. Not Ayumi-live-great, but good. I wonder why she freaked out so much..?

I mean.. What? Here she isn't even singing, she's just standing there with her hands looking weird instead of leaning on Yuri like she's supposed to...

I think that lives are usually made up of 2-3 performances actually, so the cameraman can get more angles. I remember that when RDR came out they did an individual cam of all 9 Girls and the person filming Hyoyeon lost her in a position changeover and started filming someone else. I would guess they always have a few shots at it so the studio gets a better chance of capturing the best angles and all the people giving lines...?

There's usually a lot of fanaccounts from their recordings too, so I imagine most groups just chill out between takes which gives them time to do fanservice-y stuff.

Maybe the cameraman is a massive creeper or sasaeng fans were there? I would be shitting my pants if I was being filmed by them!

Just found out that I have listened to "I GOT A BOY" 117 times!

It is officially my song of 2013.

It would be nice though to hear their comeback song from the start and immediately fall in love with it instead of this hate and then forcing myself to like it thing that tends to keep happening.

Laughing at your picture and description. Lulz! I'm glad I'm not the only one who is noticing whatever that awkwardness was. It's like she hadn't won before and then had to do that obligatory encore that they ALWAYS do. I mean how many times did they have to do it for "The Boys."?

Even when Jessica passed the microphone to her to just finish up the acceptance speech she looked like, "Wha?! Me?! I have to speak?!" More like you GET to speak. Sooyoung are you high?

Seems like she got composed and did the rest of the routine like normal. TBH I think she thought it was going to be lipsync and thus didnt try. Then went a bit oh **** wtf when she realized she made a total fool of herself.

hmm i donno they sounded pretty much live for me, at least the 2nd week of their comebacks, 1st week of their comebacks, they obviously lipsynched. maybe they have improved so much doing LIVE, since The Boys. I'm the most impressed by Seo Hyun <3

hmm maybe Sooyoung was still surprised coz they could win the award... so she was just being happy..

I think they KNEW they would win. and were very happy. Hence she didnt know whether to actually perform or just celebrate...afterall, encore performances tend to be very informal and simply more interaction with fans. I think she was unsure of what to do since she opened the song.

I'm sorry, but that IMO live was not good

(Oh! was not bad, just didn't like RDR) I don't get why GG always sound like they're whispering when they're singing, especially in the start.. I don't think Yoona sang bad in this... She sounds better than Yuri here... In this live Sooyoung is the weakest.. Not necessarily the worst, but I can barely hear her.

(This thread isn't about Ayu, so I'm not gonna start talking about the quality of her lives, but I personally think she sounds great live, most of the time.)
