I swear Unconditionally did way better. It was in TV commercials and the radio played it quite often. Oh well. I'm glad Dark Horse is gaining recognition. Love that song so much. The bass kills me. I just wish the ending of the song wasn't so awful. It just, stops lol annoying.

I'm also ticked off that unconditionally underperformed, I blame the timing, maybe it was too soon for a katy ballad. I hope this doesn't discourage her from releasing more ballads in the future, I heard some katycats saying that she wasn't too happy about Dark Horse becoming a single...

Of course it was too soon, ballads are made to close albums, not to open campaigns (usaully). Thankfully we had that epic performance at EMAs.

And yeah, sales are pretty solid for a non-japanese, but usually foreign artists have chart-life longer than japanese artists, mostly due to the way they release stuff (digital lead singles -> physical album -> digital promo singles). The only thing people can buy is the album ^^

But she has to LET IT GO and give people what THEY want, not what she wants.
