Even though it's extremely likely that the m-flo song will be electro given some of their previous works, I think Feel the love was meant to be the EDM song and the m-flo produced song is separate from that. Sorry for the confusion~

Don't worry, this sounds way too 90s to sound like anything Namie did on FEEL.

It sounds far too similar to You & Me, and like that, lacks any sort of edge? I don't know, it's not safe (that would be a winter ballad), but it's hardly exciting or pushing her boundaries.

no her best for a single but better than love again as her vocals are not croaky and there are proper transitions between the verses and chorus. I feel that theres going to be more to the song than what she has released on youtube. On the bright side at least its not fully in english.

Come on. Namie isn't the first or only, definitely not the last person ever to do edm so it just sounds silly to say she's going in her footsteps or whatever. Not to mention Ayu herself has done it many times since over a decade before. Anywho I think the new song sounds far, far better and different to You & Me and the "90's sound" I find is actually kinda popular right now, for ex. Avicii's new album sounds so 90's at parts yet it's really good and hyped imo. This Ayu song should have more oomph to compare though. It probably is more sweet and toned down on purpose though, it's more j-poppy that way. And I can't remember any names RN but I could swear I've heard a lot of songs lately in clubs which have something like that 1.00-1.15 part.. Of course you can complain that she shouldn't be doing what "everyone else" is, and yeah it is kinda generic, however the song still has a very Ayu vibe imo. I like it. I like that she changes up her game. Oh and everyone who doesn't feel the original You&Me should go listen to the Remo-con mix - it's so nice. And the Shinichi Osawa one as well

And the m-flo song is 'intended for the dancefloor' apparently so much excitement for that. Compared to the 'uplifting' nature of Feel the love, I wonder if it'll be a bit heavier.

I don't think that she should release ballads just because it's christmas. It's a christmas single solely because it's released on christmas + it will deliberate all the "ayu plays it safe" complaints. Also the song with m-flo might be a bit of a boundries puher if it's really a dancefloor track, m-flo wouldn't help produce it if it's not up to date since Verbal really likes up to date music. We will see.

Feel the love already get points for sticking in one's head.
