Good fuck Tiffany needs to enroll herself in singing lessons again. She's never been a good technical singer from the beginning, but damn is it obvious her technique became shitty. Sounds as though she's drawing breath from throat instead of her diaphragm.

On a positive note, listening to the Mr.Mr. mini was an enjoyable experience. Definitely on my to buy list.

Seohyun is lovely, she is an amazing vocalist, she is tall and she is more pretty now <3, And she doesn't have any scandal like Tiffany, Jessica and the rest.

i've been seeing comments about her since i joined the thread..

i don't think she's that bad ... she's a decent singer.. like the rest of the girls, except for Taeyeon. she only has few off pitches during each performances.
listen to her covers of other singers' songs, i think she sounds much better when she's not singing SNSD songs.

It's because FanyPack is an attention whore who thinks she is Beyoncé and every other member of the group is her Michelle. And she really hates it when Jessica speaks English. Especially in America.

The M!Countdown performance was nice

But Tiffany's scream in the end was awful...

This thread is the only place I see more people who doesn't love Tiffany. Most people I speak to love her to death...
I can't stand Tiffany, I just can't. I love all the other 8 members, but Tiffany... there's something about her vocals and personality that I just can't stand. I know she's not a bad person, but the way she acts I during the performances I just can't >_<

Seems I can understand the hate for Tiffany because I had experienced it before

To be honest, I disliked Tiffany during the Genie era... just felt that she was so wrong. I was still a newbie SONE at that time.
But after further travel in the fandom, I realized that Tiffany wasn't that bad at all, you probably need time to accept her

Her voice is decent in Mr.Mr imo, her worst is during their first album era

^ Actually, in my case the more I got into SNSD the more I disliked her... I like SNSD for 5 years now, and on the beginning I didn't mind her (I barely new who she was), but when I started to get more into them and know all the members I started to get annoyed by Tiffany. I know she's not a bad person, but the way she acts in public and her vocals don't help at all...

But seriously, what's the problem with her voice? I'm not ironic, I'm seriously asking. I know nothing about vocal techniques or stuff, but I think she's pretty good. He duet with Taeyeon, Lost In Love, is one of my most loved songs ever.

Oh, her vocals for me are not always bad, when she sings normally I think her vocals are quite decent. My problem is mostly when she speaks or tries to rap in the middle of the songs, like her "DJ put it back on" on the performances that I absolutely can't stand (it's ok on the recorded version, but on the performances she does that exaggerated "put in back OOOOON" and I find it so annoying, seriously >_<), or on The Boys that she keeps saying "ha ha ha ha ha" "yeah" during the whole song (and it took me a while to get into her "we bring the boys out" in the beginning of the song, but I'm actually used to it now), or even with TTS, when Taeyeon and Seohyun are showing their awesome vocals while Tiffany just keeps saying "ha ha yeah"...
You know, these kind of stuff that she does during many songs (that I'm sure the producers ask her to do it, but still), it's a mater of opinion, but it annoys the hell out of me every time I listen she doing that on the middle of the songs...

As for her normal singing vocals, I'm usually ok with them. I don't think she's great, but she's usually not bad, though sometimes I think she messes up, like her scream on that last M!Countdown performance that I think it wasn't good. But my problem with her vocals is really when she speaks in the middle of the songs (luckily Mr.Mr doesn't have that). I can honestly say that this was the main reason I started to dislike her, like up to this day I still can't watch a Genie performance without getting annoyed by her...
(and the way she looks when she sings those parts, like she thinks she's being awesome, annoys me even more because for me those parts kind of ruin the songs, but she sings like she thinks she's the best... I know it's just my interpretation and I probably over react a bit because I don't like those parts, but I just can't stand it >_<)

But I don't want to offend her fans or anything, I suppose many people like her vocals or else she wouldn't do those things, I just personally don't like it...

Yoona was always my favorite since 2008 because she was the first member that stood out for me back then and I loved her in You Are My Destiny! Not only that but I love the shape of her head! I'm starting to like Seohyun because she always has the best lines in every song

i heard stuff about her and sica most of the time back then, when i just got to know them since Gee.. been reading bashings/bad comments/all those negative things about her and sica.. but know what, that's actually made me like her EVEN MORE, i was just curious why people hate her? specially the other fandoms, i don't know, but i certainly don't see the way how she acted that made people hate her, and reading fanaccounts about her meeting her fans, she was super nice, she smiled all the time etc..

i don't dislike any members, though my least fave probably yoona but i still watch her dramas and she's so good in prime minister and I, i could say i love them equally, because they make what GG is.. 9 members since the beginning. so i still don't understand why the hate towards just one member and love the other 8 members.. or love 2, hate the other 6..that's what the whole group means for me.

but then again, yeah i can't ask you to love her like others do, but at least just "like" her not necessarily to "love" her. accept her for who she is because GG loves her for she is.

Agreed. Almost like her voice cracked.
The only one of the group that can handle a scream like that is actually Taeyeon. I don't like it when she goes overboard with it, but at least it doesn't sound bad!

Also, agree on only disliking Tiffany. It's something diva-ish about her I can't stand (I adore Jessica though, even if she is the one people usually call diva)
