Hm... if it's the 'ayu' photobook. there are scans up. It's very nice, but a pretty basic photobook with her looking pretty in just about all of the pictures.

I'll never get over how tiny she was in 2001 with all the A BEST promo...she looks twig-like in some of the BTS footage they showed from that era in the 2004 NTV documentary.

And I agree on 2001 ayu looking similar to twig. Just a bit similar. That ayu was definitely iconic but I sometimes I see few flashes of other big stars' images on her, though it's understandable because she really just started off her career anyway.

2001 Ayu was 23 and naturally skinny. Asians are also smaller in general. She is 157cm, so of course she is going to look very skinny. That picture with Sawajiri is just from a weird angle. Compare to this ViVi photoshoot for example from the same era. Short hair adds to the naturally petite look of hers.

Reading her recent interviews, I'm happy that she really cares about her health and tries to eat healthy and work out. She has admitted that she used to be unhealthy with her eating habits for example.

She was extremely skinny though during certain periods. She lost a lot of weight in 2011/2012 compared to before. She was a bit chubbier around 2007-2008 compared to then. I would say just after that period is when she really got thin. Perhaps around her pink hair era?

I recall she mentioned once in an interview that she did not eat for a good period of time (probably in the early 2000s) because she wanted to stay thin but since then she has realized that is healthy which is great~ I don't think she'll ever get that thin again unless maybe some extremely stressful event happens, but for now she's gonna stay her toned self which is probably best for her and her body.

I actually have always preferred the CD only cover of Rock n Roll Circus.
The DVD version is too close up. At least the other one shows more of her outfit and hair. The hat too.

I finally purchased Party Queen. I got it for $3, no less.

I couldn't ever get myself to buy that album...all the time, I thought I didn't like it enough. I was browsing iTunes when I realized that I like almost every song on the entire album. The only ones I don't care for are NaNaNa, Shake it, and How beautiful you are.

ESM and the next LOVE are actually favorites of mine >.< To be honest, though, the titular song is really fascinating. The entire album is so heart wrenching. D:

I did the same thing when I bought my copy of Party Queen.

Someone was selling their copy for like $8 or $10 so I was quick to get it because I did not think it was worth spending more money on it.

I have come to like the album now but it still isn't a favorite. I only love tracks 4 through 10. Call being number one.

But after seeing the Hotel Love Songs performance of NaNaNa I love it.

Same here! I think I bought mine for more or less $10 (can't remember how much specifically) but it was basically brand new; super good condition. And it was actually my third album of ayu's to own. I wasn't necessarily looking for it as I'm not crazy about the album, but it was so cheap, I just had to get it lol.
