I wonder how the extended tour dates of LS 2016 will affect the possibility of a 25th anniversary tour. Was hoping to schedule my next Japan trip to attend. It makes LS2016 end in May and new tours are usually announced by the fall, is 4-5 months enough downtime?

Actually I rather she stops at 88 shows. Releases the DVD/blu-ray in March. A new album or collaboration album in June and starts her 25th anniversary tour in September...

Just bought a ticket for one of the shows in Tokyo this week--I didn't even realize the dates of my trip would line up with her tour so this is super spur of the moment I haven't seen Namie live since a-nation '08 in Osaka so I'm wicked pumped!!!

How? I've been in Tokyo when she had tour and wanted to go but the only way to get tickets was to have a Japanese phone :/

I loved the concert! She sang more songs from genic than I would have liked but oh well. Strike a pose was really fun live; I hope we get a studio version sometime soon. Other standout performances were Hide & Seek (everyone went nuts for it, including me), Hero, and probably Stranger... her first costume was BAGIN'. The hair, the outfit, everything was perfect. Overall I really liked the staging and their use of LCD screens and projections, though the interlude after Hands on Me had me going "what the actual fuck did I just watch?" so I'm hoping that bit doesn't make it to the DVD lol.

Speaking of which, they were filming at the concert on the 8th--and presumably the day before as well. DVD/Bluray here we come!

It looks to be mostly the same...though I don't think she sang Golden Touch. Also, Christmas Wish was replaced with Anything (bleh).

after Namie Amuro success thread I suddenly felt how I always underestimated Namie though I really love some of her songs. now I want to attend her Kyoto concert in April. but how can I buy a ticket? :O I want to buy a ticket officially with regular price.

You need to ballot for tickets through Tickebo. I'm not sure what the timeline is like for the Kyoto shows in April but you'll find more details further back in the thread since someone seems to ask that question once every two pages.
