I don't understand those few people comparing to Ayu (lol? I don't remember her showing that much, rather regular show costumes. She doesn't go gaga ^-^) and for the sake of god...this is Gackt xD One, it's in his fashion to show off like that, and two, he is simply very handsome (I know, not for all but I'm generalising now).

Isn't this so weird? The article, the comments. So strange.
It's not like a nude photo or anything. It's not even sexual, Gackt is just proud of his body. As he should be considering all the work he puts into it, he works very hard to maintain that body.
And how is Ayu relevant in any way?

They are saying he is like Ayu because they show too much skin? Gackt has even more revealing photos than his instagram posts. As for Ayu, I actually feel like she is rather tasteful when it comes to showing her body. Except for Party Queen of course.

and yeah, he posed full naked in some shots before, you could clearly see all his butt so I don't know what's the big deal about showing his abs now

Japanese are the most sexually frustrated and insecure nation in the world so that's why it's such a big deal. I read that in average the first time they have sex, if ever, is when they are around 30. Now imagine the frustration that piles up from the moment you hit puberty to 30

Honestly though it's pretty certain that entire CM uses a body-double. The shots are so splicey and strategically filmed. Even so, since that time she's done many revealing photoshoots.

And about that Netizens article, I died at the final post which featured ayu that read "A friend with the same hobby" lmao!

Does it really matter? I mean, even if it's a body double, they are still using it to represent Ayu's body, it's meant to be understood as it was her. Ayu agreeded on recording a cm whose selling point is showing to the viewer what should be her naked body, so she obviouly doesn't care about being seen as someone who would be naked. Also, considering LOVEppears, I AM... And RAINBOW covers, I don't think she ever had much problem on showing skin ^^

but yeah, Ayu never has shown skin like, uhmm in a erotic (or maybe "trashy") way, I'm totally ok with nudity so for me it's not a big deal, but even with her sexy photoshoot she doesn't looks like a porn thing, I don't even find the party queen photoshoot to be erotic or too provocative
