I seriously can't wait to see what Utada comes up with for her next single (the one after Prisoner Of Love). She's not a frequent singles-releaser like Ayumi, so that could be a long time into the future.

Erm.....how many PVs has Hikki had since the her divorcer? 1-2-3-4...5 PVs (excluding BwK) and suddenly now ur saying she's hit the crapper as a PV queen..or whatever. I think most of ur a basing her lack of good quality PVs on HEART STATION and FoL which I wouldn't say is fair. =/

Boku wa Kuma - Even though I excluded this from Hikki's PV catalog, some of you wanted her to be in it....for some odd reason and my response to that is FOR WHAT? I see no reason for her to be in a 2 and a half minute PV. What was she gonna do? What? But in a bear costume and sing BwK?!

C'mon. Some PVs are just nice as the way it is. BwK is for kids and Hikki promoting Kuma instead of herself shows she's not an attention seeker like most artists.

Flavor of Life PV - Yes, I count this PV is a bad one but not that bad were it has to go in the Hikki PV Wall of Shame....well, yea. I will have to add it there.

Beautiful World/Kiss&Cry - There's already been an explanation as to why she didn't make another PV for the both of them adding herself in the PVs. Besides, I wouldn't call this Hikki's PV but more like Eva's PV. =/

HEART STATION - I really don't know why you guys are giving this PV such a hard time. Hikki was in it....which is what u guys wanted. She moved around and gave some energy to the video. There was a concept that was behind the video. The only thing I can say that was bad about this video was that the director made the video look cheap...as in it's sort a DIY video.

. Other than that, I liked it. A nice PV and a major upgrade from FoL PV.

Prisoner of Love - Again, I really don't know why you guys are giving this PV such a hard time. All from here was criticism for this PV which is so bogus because Hikki seems liked she fun and enjoyed herself...even giveing us a laugh or two in the PV. She had great energy plus there was some flashyness (as you guys would like for every single on of her PVs =/) in the PV. She had on different colors for each scene. There's nothing bad I can say about the video at all.

I really really liked it.

I hate to ask this to u guys but must everything be super flashy and colorful for it to a "good" PV?

Let's put it this way: "changing the world" could mean a lot of different things. Technically all it means is that the world is different after you were born and lived than it was before you, thanks to things you did. I could "change the world" right now by planting a tree in my front yard. Technically any change to the world would qualify as such.

It's very possible to do both, not to mention Utada has done this in the past along with many other artists so that's not the reason and Utada has no reason to feel the need to "save" money. She has more than enough.

I'm starting to wonder if her Husband didn't push her past PVs onto her while she didn't really care, if not straight out didn't want to do such PVs.

It might that Utada is strong on audio creativity and weaker on visual. I get the sense that she puts a lot of emotion into her music, which makes it fantastic, but when it comes time to film a video, she draws a blank. Maybe it's not quite her area - it might be a good idea for EMI to hire directors/producers who work well with Utada's ideas and bring them to the screen in a befitting way. She obviously got along with her ex-husband (or used to), so EMI just needs to find someone similar.

Tbh, I don't want another Kazzy. It's time for us to move on from that Kazzy Trilogy stuff to something different now. I mean, seriously, those PVs were made at a different time period and trying to make similar PVs as the Trilogy PVs would seem kinda wierd now in this time period. There are other ways to express the meaning of PVs other than dressing up in funny-looking costumes and have big bright colorful colors in a PV. Like I said earlier, must everything be super flashy and colorful in order for it to be a "good" PV?

Well I finally purchased the "Prisoner of Love" Single last night. So I'll wait for that to arrive and watch the Music Video for the first time that way. (If the DVD Plays on my DVD player..........hopefully). I'll download the Music Video onto my Computer eventually still.

I'm not really in a rush anyway being that I've seen the (disappointing) previews. Ha. I can wait.

^I think the previews for the Quiet version was pure garbage.

I waiting for another version of the single to appear of yeasia so that I can purchase it. The Japanese version cost too much....especially for a single.

Is anyone curious about the how PoL will chart this week? I think that first day it'll be at either #2 or #3.

I don't think it's gonna be released in the States. The best thing for u to do is order the Canadian version from the EMI website or from yeasia. Or better yet AyUta, go to ur local FYE store and ask them to order it for you and just pay them right then and there.

But yea, I don't know who keeps posting that HS was coming out in the states on wiki?!

It's been released on Itunes in the states but not in physical format....so maybe that's what they mean by it been released in the states.

You know, now that I think about it, out of all of the Hikki singles, I thought that Best Buy/FYE/Borders would have sold her Hikari and Passion single there. Wtf? Hello?! Are the theme songs for Kingdom Heart not popular?

I never even seen the KH compilation in FYE nor Best Buy. Odd!

Gackt actually is pretty popular in the states. I don't know why.

I saw ULTRA BLUE in Best Buy once though.

And I bought it. It's some weird Thai version with a really messed up page. The lyrics are like... normal... and then they start dropping down and there's random letters. It's crazy. @_@

Lucky you. I think the Best Buy's I go to don't believe in asian music.

I hope when I go to Cali this summer that they have some of her stuff in the music stores. If not, I'll just have to rely on amazon.com as always.

As for Gackt, I feel a english album coming soon.

Actually Barnes & Noble's site had HEART STATION posted up as a Future Release, which would lead one to believe that it will actually be released in America, if not already. Can't remember the released date on that site.

ULTRA BLUE was released in the States I thought. Walmart.com lists it.

HEART STATION is at #4 for the week! She sold 25,138, up from 23,581 last week! Awesome. Total sales are now 867,054. Hikki is just 132,946 copies away from hitting the million park!

For comparison, in its 9th week, ULTRA BLUE was at #32, selling 6,260. UB's 9-week total was 851,044.
