somehow whenever each week they release a single , they always have to go up against stiff tough competition

But then every week somebig artist has a release, But I honestly though they did have a chance with YUI cus she doesnt sell that much.

both artistes have relatively big fanbases . I think why YUI won this time round is because usually the CD + DVD of her singles tend to sell out after a while

then again I don't know , it's just unfortunate for SID's case . They're so long overdue to get a #1 for sure

at least sales wise they can sell unlike my kids BREAKERZ .__. . With Rain having 3 editions , SID can still lodge about 61K copies

for BREAKERZ , 3 editions , about 20K if not lesser at their end X_X

but lol who am I to complain ? they're able to get top 10 positions for their releases now . Initally they barely do squat

Well, YUI doesn't sell LITTLE either. SID has only recently started to have these figures. YUI is generally in the region of 70-80k in the first week. Last year SID was mostly in the 30-40k for the first week, barring Uso and now RAIN, of course.

It's not like they've been exactly chasing each other in the past ; )

Uso & Rain are probably considered their more best selling singles cos of Fullmetal

I would have slotted Monochrome no Kiss as it was used to promote the Black Butler anime but mmm sales were not that high/great as compared to Uso/Rain

but they still can sell at the end of the day . Way before they went mainstream , they already had a really sizeable fanbase during their indie days

fan-net lists a new single for 9/15!

they'll be going against UVERworld if both of these releases get confirmed. and i figured SID would have released an album by now, too.

I guess by now they already wrapped up their Saitama Super Arena gig so that explained some downtime for them to release something

I want a new album so hopefully that will follow after this

Another single? That was unexpected? Wouldn't it be better to release the album now that they're still on a "high" from RAIN? It worked wonders when they did it with Uso. Oh well.

Agains UVERWorld. They might have a shot at no. 1 ship this time. But they'd need a good tie-in and pray Uverworld doesn't have one. XD.

one way , sleep , Rain & then now this one

but ugh yeah they're SO long overdue to get a #1 in anything basically ~_~

I don't know how their concert DVDs fare in general though D:

Well, IIRC, their latest DVD Sidnad ~Tour 2009 hikari~ reached no. 1 on the DVD charts, so I'm guessing those do pretty good as well.
