The Kana thing isn't that bad, though, since the album is still the same and the only difference is a slipcover.

In Chiaki's case, this "deluxe edition" makes the first edition inferior since it has additional CD and DVD contents. It's a bit of slap in the face to the people who bought the album the first time. They could buy the new songs as a single but they'd still be missing out on the new PV so it's not really fair. :/

So I was .... bored earlier on & I decided to give a listen to Kuriyama's music since I know Lisa told me before she's a fan of Kuriyama's music :p

I haven't finish listening to her CIRCUS album but from what I have heard so far , I'm quite impressed

Kuriyama's voice is quite distinct & she's so prety which's so not fair ;_;

Given on what I have heard so far , I'm quite a convert of Kuriyama's stuff so far but only time will tell on this x)

And I have to say I really like Seishun no Mabataki & in a way or 2 , I'm kinda glad this's included in the deluxe edition of CIRCUS haha

Kuriyama Chiaki chosen as new image character for ‘Aeon Mall’



Actress Kuriyama Chiaki has been chosen as the new image character for ‘Aeon Mall‘! She will be starring in their latest CM starting February 29th.

The campaign slogan for the new CM is “DO MALL!! AEON MALL”. With her lively appearance, Kuriyama will represent the mall’s many features, which include shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Kuriyama reflected on the CM shoot saying, “I got to throw paint everywhere, it was a very refreshing and fun shoot.” She added, “There are many ways to enjoy Aeon Mall, so everyone, please enjoy it to the fullest.”

Additionally, a large poster featuring Kuriyama will be up in 109 Aeon Mall chains nationwide.

Kuriyama Chiaki’s dream comes true with new CM



Actress Kuriyama Chiaki (27) has been appointed as the new CM character for hair care brand “syoss”. On March 27th, Kuriyama attended a press conference for the brand. Kuriyama explained how her dream has come true, “I have long hair so I wondered if this day would ever come, and when it did I was so happy.”

Okada Keisuke of MasudaOkada and Kinoshita Takayuki of TKO were also in attendance. Kinoshita caused a bit of laughter with one of his comments, “My ideal girl is someone with long black hair and the surname of Kuriyama.”

Kuriyama Chiaki to release her first single in a year and 5 months

It’s been revealed that actress/singer Kuriyama Chiaki will be releasing her first single in a year and 5 months, “Toyosu☆Luciferin“, on April 24th.

Kuriyama’s 6th single since her singing debut in February of 2010 was written by former Midori vocalist Goto Mariko and composed, arranged, and produced by 9mm Parabellum Bullet guitarist Taki Yoshimitsu. The song is said to have a beautiful melody, heavy-metal sound, and lyrics full of fantasy.

For its coupling track, the single will include a rock number called “Hodokenai, Bokura wa Zettai.“, which is also composed, arranged, and produced by Taki. It will also include a song that was produced by 9mm Parabellum Bullet, “Roulette de Kuchizuke wo“, which was featured in Kuriyama’s first album, “CIRCUS“, released back in March of 2011.

Weird that Roulette de Kuchizuke wo will be included in the single especially since it's already included in both normal & reissues of CIRCUS o_O

But anyway who cares I like that song so xD

Funny that her outfit & mannerisms in the PV reminds me of the crazy blonde robot in KinKi Kids's Time

At least she's finally back with something , after god knows how long x.x
