Nice to see her releasing stuff again, but why a mini album? It baffles me. Mini's seem like a hard sell...coming from avex artists anyway. Wasn't ayu's first like the only successful mini album from avex? T_T

I think Ayu is the only and/or first artist in all of Japan to have a mini album sell over a million copies. I think, I could be wrong.

A mini album is definitely unexpected. But I'm super excited for it none the less! Does this mean we won't get a full album until next spring/summer?

I think A BALLADS 2 would be better than this...put the new ballads on that and save the duet crap for their albums.

i was happy when i saw the news, but i saw in the descriptions ballads and medium ballads with JUNO and NAOTA, and idk what to think, i don't want more medium ballads and collaborations.
i like AAA, but NAOTAs voice is not good for a collab with ayu, DREAM ON was nice, but their voices don't sound good together.

i think i'm only excited for BRILLANTE

TBH, I'm also mad seeing that progress released in the mini album, not single. I want Tales of Xillia version is more Xillia-ish, containing progress instrumental, progress orchestra, progress TOX Size, and another track

i was seriously not expecting this! this is such AMAZING news!!!

i don't really mind ayu doing collaborations. it may not be my preference (since i generally prefer solo songs over collabs) but as long as the song comes out good, i will be satisfied! and it's different for ayu, so i'm glad she's doing something else for a chance & i don't mind hearing any new types of music from her.

now i'm looking forward to seeing the covers! i hope they'll be nice!

Still really excited. HOWEVER... I hope her voice is up for it... I don't want a minialbum of horrible vocals!

Also, I hope Shimoko does at least one of the PVs. =D

It is ALMOST a big single... Perhaps they just called it an album for chart reasons?

I really don't like the idea. All these collaborations...
I'd rather have a super mega maxi single and a real album from her at the end of the year / next winter-spring.
I hope it will be the case.

I first read about it in the cdl thread. I was like WTF? What are they talking about; a mini???

Someone mentioned in the Ku thread that anything above 4 songs is considered a mini-album. So a 4 A-side is the highest you can go as far as singles are concerned.
