Are we talking about Koda Kumi? I liked 'grow into one'. Her vocals were great in '1000 no kotoba' but her following albums were all misses for me.

I didn't mean koda in person, just that she always gets compared to and brought up in ayus new album threads

Oh, I know that. But, since you phrased the question in such a way that sounded like Kuu in person, I was was replying in the same way to just say that "The reason that Kuu always gets brought up is the fault of the crazy fans".

btw I remember when NL was released and people was so disappointed by so many interludes. But then most of them loved that album anyway (for me as well). I don't want to compare NL to Party Queen, but I think there's a possibility it will happen again.

I still hope the tracklist it's not confirmed though.. just for Smoke, Eyes, Magic ;_; best Ayu title so far. Such huuuge disappoint if it will turns out as interlude.

Not to be nitpicky, but you said "most of them loved it", implying it was all around well-loved. AHS actually considers it to be her second worst album overall apparently:

Next Level is a good album for me I like it and I don't mind the interludes

Well, if it's an amazing interlude I don't think there's a problem there, haha. I still have hope that it's going to be a full track though!

If you have doubts about the album, it might be better to cancel the order until the album actually comes out and then purchase it if you like it. What would you do with the album if you ended up hating it and it was too late to cancel the preorder?

Everyone hates Ayu's current release but will love it by the time she releaes the next album. Everyone hated NEXT LEVEL but then loved it when R'n'RC came out, everyone hated R'n'RC but then loved it when Love songs came out, etc. etc.

Everyone will hate this one, then end up loving it.

I didnt care for the arrangements. They were too messy for me.

And I felt the compositions were lackluster, but I thought her style of electro was interesting.

I kinda wanted her to do another album with it though, to see how it could grow.
