I feel the exact same way. The way that album was assembled is just... no. The minis instead were glorious (with very nice remix and stuff) and they would have been amazing singles imo.

For me, "LOVE again" turned out to be the first entirely solid, profound album since "GUILTY". Excluding "Melody".

I always feel like i'm the only one who truly loved the FIVE album, i thought all the songs were stellar and brought something different to the table. It managed to be cohesive without being too similar sounding. Beloved is a little throwaway i guess, but it's stunning nonetheless.
Yeah, I really enjoy Five too, although it took a while for Another Song to grow on me. I didn't like it at all initially.

God I forgot all the fan drama with Juno and erm...his name has totally vanished from my mind but you know who I mean! Anyway, it all seems even more ridiculous in hindsight.

I actually liked the collaborations on that album; they were good. BRILLANTE is overrated though.

You icons are overrated! LOL.
I liked brillante alot, but I do think the praise for it is a little... blah.
It's a great song, and I think ayumi doing something like that is amazing, but it's not BRILLANTE, lol.

FIVE is a good EP, but it will never pass the amazeness of Memorial address in my eyes. I love every song on it, especially ANother song which is probably my favorite because it has those sweet R&B tunes♥ She needs more R&B in her discography. And Timmy.

And don't get me started on how amazing Party Queen is. I still love that album to bits. It's something that I needed from Ayu. PQ is also one of my top 5 fav albums from her. Although for me, no album can pass (miss)understood in any way.

Speaking about the Missing PV, I think the colors and the overall scene went really well with the music. I find it absolutely thrilling to listen to music according to the weather patterns, and one time I listened to Missing while the sun was beginning to set, in early autumn, so all the colors were light browns and burnt oranges, and it wasn't cloudy, so the light was reflecting off the colors, and it was snowing. It was such a strange experience, but when I had the urge to listen to Missing at that moment, it felt like it was made to be listened to during that time.

Missing's video was the right step to take IMO, it's much more mature.
I prefer 10 videos like that than anything like Shake it <3.

I don't think the songs on FIVE were as catchy as the ones on memorial address. I could do without timmy tho, i feel like it worked that one time and then now its kinda just like "you're still using him?"

^ Considering Timmy didn't compose anything for Love again, she isn't using him.

I'm so happy to see some love for ANother song, it's so lovely! Surely it isn't a masterpiece, but it wasn't meant to be one, and I saw so much hate for it, while people usually praised things like Why..., which is nice, but it's super safe, and pales compared to amazing soft-rockish songs she already did like It Was.
And I really liked the video of Missing, but to compare it to Shake It! PV is kind of useless imo. Both were really different, given the type of songs they hosted. You can't ask for something classy, with a song like Shake It!, it'd be a contradiction! I actually think Shake It PV was very on point. Once you embrace this vision of Party Queen where all the trash is planned, you kinda start to appreciate it, I suppose, lol.

^ I loved ANother song since it came out! <3 It's so relaxing. And while I'm not a huge fan of Naoya's voice, their harmonizing was so pretty. I'd love to hear Ayu take on another R&B song solo.

I'm the same way. Finding that perfect weather condition/time of day to listen to a song can make it that much more epic, and Ayu's songs are great for those kind of match-ups because they're so atmospheric.

I love listening to momentum while it's snowing. I feel like a single sad-ass bitch when I listen to it. Oh wait I am.
