Dance in the Rain sounds like something Kuu from the grow into one/feel my mind days would do. It's great.

Regarding Bon Voyage tour, I've watched some clips, loved loved LOVED the opening. The female dancers' outfits for the first act are hilarious though. Bra on the outside lol.

I think that Kuu vocals have a bit gone worse for me, which might be cause of pregnancy, but this is just what I personally noticed in Japonesque concert and Let's Party Vol.2

I've noticed that Kuu's been playing with her vocals more these days. As far as live... I haven't really watched any, lol. But, considering how much she's been doing, they are probably just over-worked.

EDIT: Listening to Grow Into One and holy god. The whole thing is basically one big TLC reject demo album. And the over use of the word "one" annoys me. Just reminded me why I never listen to this album. *Hits play on Feel My Mind*

You and me both. Well, I do check up on kumi from time to time and on the rare occasion that the planets align, I like her music.

But I like Brand-kumi more though, when she releases products.

I much prefer Grow Into One to Feel My Mind. I really want to like Feel My Mind more though. There are some great songs on it but the album seems like a bit of a slog to get through towards the middle & end.

Same for me.
I love grow into one, it's one of my favourite albums by Kuu.
On feel my mind I just like some songs. But it has the better cover.

Though when I first got into Kumi I totally ignored her three early albums as well. And sometime later I tried again and, boom, loved parts of it.
I admire them for being a great combination of pop and R&B (with her rough unpolished vocals).
Something she doesn't do often anymore.

Well, she just releases music that I like the most in this world so of course I love everything. She just doesn't seem to never disappoint me. Namie and Hikki are like that too.

I feel same way about Kuu and Hikki. Only thing to gripe on them a little is a few MVs in their discography, but I won't hold that against them. Not everything produced will be flawless. However, Namie's a different story. While almost everyone else is SOOO MADLY IN LOVE with her recent stuff like FEEL, Ballerina, etc I find it's actually making me feel wanting to listen to her less. I like the music, but I'm not falling in love with it as much. TSUKI was a lovely song though.

Total opposite for me (although I do agree tsuki is beautiful). I never liked her early stuff. Besides a few songs like Love 2000, Please smile again, toi et moi (the popular ones), I don't like much before style. I even had a hard time enjoying queen of hippop and play. I don't know what it is but I just got bored with her music style. Then from best fiction up til now I've loved everything she's released more than the last. It's very urban and dancey. Half of her stuff before style to me sounds like typical filler songs, and britney spears/TLC demos. So Crazy screams J-lo mixed with Janet Jackson.

Some songs on Secret really grew on me though. Oh, and I like the song Dream.

I didn't like Koda for a long time because I think that her early material is very weak and bland. Plus I didn't like her over sexualised image just to sell her music. Seems desperate to me.

But I always knew that she has a killer voice and then suddenly her material got a lot better. Plus the driving hit's really helped me enjoy her discography more. I like it when artists release plenty of remixes

I wonder when we'll start getting news of a new single. We have 5 songs (4 with PVs) that are unreleased. I'll be surprised if we don't get at least a single in December. Really wonder what they are planning...
