When Step You was released the promotion wasn't that big, she did like three or four shows and some mag covers, I think more than this time.

Good that you find it funny. But most people think it's REALLY REALLY stupid and not funny at all and sometimes a little offensive and honestly, I don't think the fact he likes her gives him the right to say such things, even if he doesn't like the person, this isn't a nice/funny/inteligent thing to say, at least in my IMO (and, I guess, most people at this board. But I can be wrong). I honestly don't care if he doesn't mean it, is just annoying, so I think he should stop it.

Yes, its stuck at #8, but with low first week sales, chance of rebounding aren't that great either. Did you guys see the album's chart?

1st place beat second place by 10 times. 983000 to 98400..

i think it will move maybe a spot or two as Morning Musume's single continues to go down every day

The bright side: She surpassed Seiko Matsuda with most number ones, and had how many in a row? I say, even with low sales, that's a damn huge achievement.

Really huge. Nobody can ever overtake her now, not in at least 10 years I suppose. Which means Ayu is still queen!!! But why isn't the next single announced yet?

Not everybody works as fast, or is as heavily milked by Avex as Koda Kumi now.

However, I'd actually like to see someone overtake her though, with great music and showmanship. But I have to admit, it's hard to find someone who can do both as well as Ayu these days.

The ranking is more important than the sales number. Overall CD sales are down for all artists.

wow...number 5...hurray
i agree that koda has a nice voice but her sex appeal can be die sometime..so i don't think she can hold her position for a long term...some of her 12 single was really bad...i think it can be a b side or c side for ayu song...she sales well because of her unique voice and unique image..
i don't think ai deserve it too...
the one that i looking for right now was ayaka...she was totally excellent rockie this year...

Exactly!!! Compared to this year, last year was extremely prosperous and bountiful.

And YAY for being in the top 5 again.
My predictions for the week:
#6 and around 33 000 copies.
