CMJK mentions the word 修行(SHUGYO) in one of his recent blog posts. Bet you he had something to do with the track.

But yeah. I was thinking... what if Ayu meant "Road" instead of "Load"?

As long as she isn't releasing horrible stuff (covers, songs titles, songs and PVs) I'm fine with almost everything.
(Exactly like you and hikki).

In this case, I imagined something like that would be the NEXT LEVEL (I even said I want a PV for Sparkle and I got it) the tracklist is pretty funky, crazy that it's great.
The cover is fun, I don't see anything to not like at the moment.

And I love that cover, I'm so happy that I booked the 2 CD + DVD version. Funky hairstyle though...but I'm not the one to complain, since I get brand new material from Ayumi.

Does anyone know if those lucky draw items that someone mentioned will be randomly given at CDJ, will be available at Yesasia at some point? Me wants~

OMG..the BIGGER cover made it very eye-catching. I love Ayu's facial features. The hair is really to symbolize her wildness probably. Same for the colours...
The digital text...probably shows the new era...NEXT LEVEL for her..

Yes, the big cover was much better coz the small wan was totally LQ.
But yea, I was quite taken aback at the cover. Her most colourful cover yet..

Sparkle PV...as expected.
This is her first time doing a PV for a title track
as well as a "bye-bye" song..(leave HUMMING out...it was never a 'bye-bye' song)

I really wanna see the ViVi Deji for this album...i wanna see the making picS!!!

As for the tracklist...OMG ITS CRAZY.
I really don't know what to expect. It doesnt have the power GUILTY had on me. (GUILTY's title was so impactful...(don't) was very true to me...and same goes the rest)

01.Bridge to the sky (this should be quite an amazing bridge/interlude//I LOVE THE TITLE)
02.NEXT LEVEL (this is gonna be a pop number..so no worries...Happy opening)
03.Disco-munication (i PRAY this is NOT an interlude...but it really feels like one)
04.EnergizE (BoA has Energetic..hahaha..This screams Techno)
05.Sparkle
06.rollin' (I dunno what to expect for this...oriental techno? hahaha)
07.GREEN
08.Load of the SHUGYO (Im guessing this is an interlude...interludes tend to have long titles)
09.identity (im thinking dark rock song...OMG AYU PLZ MAKE ONE)
10.Rule
11.LOVE 'n' HATE (Pop-rock i think??)
12.Pieces of SEVEN (rock ballad...but light...like Moments, walking proud)
13.Days
14.Curtain call (Ballad for sure...im thinking HEAVEN, untitled ~for her~)

some i think for sure will change is the ROCK-BALLAD-POP arrangement in the album. GENRES will change...but this is SO NOT gonna be a full techno/dance album im sure.

I really like the cover, at firt I didnt enjoy it at all but in bigger it looked much better. But but, the tracklist. TACKY! I hope it will sound better then I think.

lol if you go to hikki thread you'll see me complaining something about hikki as well

. I think the only thing that I really hate from ayu is the GREEN pv. Otherwise she usually satisfies me, just like this cover and tracklist. Well I dun really mind about the tracklist except the E in EnergizE. I would say I like the cover, but I'm not sure how far my love can go with this cover. That's all.

I think.. the reason I kinda falter this time is that I dunno what I should expect from this album. For the last three or four years, she was sorta into the ROCK era, so I kinda expected how her music would go in each album (except (m)u). For this new one I dun really know. I know she has done techno before (LOVEppears, to me, is one of her best albums), and I feel this album should be going to the techno side... Somehow I have a feeling that this album may not be similar to LOVEppears... And the cover actually makes me feel that she's doing something bold again.. I hope NEXT LEVEL won't suffer (m)u fate (i.e., scaring her Japanese fans away).

the last Ayu song I didn't like was Close to you. I feel exactly the same about LOVEppears, but yeah so far I don't think NEXT LEVEL will sound like LOVEppears. It's really weird cuz I knew what to expect for the last couple of albums and now xD Everything's kinda possible, but the fact that she worked with CMJK and Nakano prolly means that her music won't change drasticly, JK-san is prolly doing the techno/electro songs while Nakano must be doing the rock ones

I don't hate the cover, but I don't LOVE LOVE either. It seems a little abnormal coming from Ayu, I think...maybe. I haven't quite decided.
As for the song titles, I wonder what her inspirations are? Some of them are "..." while others are "Awesome!" So it's mixed for me!
