you don't need necessary need all those fancy stuff to show that you're a great performer/singer

those in fact can be a distraction & might take away from what you should focus on the most ie. Namie

no point getting the best concert props for her but if her performance's bad , then it defeats the whole purpose of being onstage to begin with

I actually agree, I like Namie in smaller venues... In fact, sometimes I would prefer my other favorites to perform in smaller venues.

For the past few years, Namie's alternated, I believe.

2004 - Arena, 2005 - Hall, 2006 - Arena, 2007 - Hall, 2008-2009 - Arena, and now 2010 - Hall. I guess that way she gets to have a balance of huge scale concerts as well as really intimate ones, which is cool imo

It'll be really hard to top BEST FICTION Tour, that's for sure, and I don't really expect it to, but regardless, Namie knows how to put on a show, so this'll be well worth the watch
