I gotta say I'm a bit surprised about her numbers on Oricon '-' she lost a lot of fans during her hiatus =\ her latest single sold only 3,000 copies and her new album won't get into top 10 on its debut week =(

anyway, I loved its promotional CM

^ Yeah, I didn't expect it to do great, but this is saddening She was #10 yesterday with #3 selling around 17k, and she's #26 today with #3 selling just 3346. I'm gonna guess around 5-6k for the first week

I'm a little disappointed with the new songs though. The only one I can remember is Love Fantastic, and I didn't like that straight away. Every time the other new songs started and I realised it was a slow song, I was disappointed.

Yeah, the fact that most of the album is sth we have heard ages ago is not helping the sales at all.

LOVE FANTASTIC is a really nice track, I love it actually the rest of the new songs are nice but sadly when you put it into the album...I kinda lost it

Most albums are sold digitally nowadays anyway.

So I think there is no need to be too depressed by the numbers.

Most albums in Japan are still bought physically and even if they did Ai didn't do well digitally either.

I'm still hoping they upload her album onto US iTunes so I can purchase it from there. They've got all of her other stuff there, including her most recent singles. What is taking so long?! Ayu's album still isn't on there either. Urgh.

I don't think that's a valid comparison to make--as much as I love her, Ai was never even remotely on Ayu's level.

I'm kind of sick of the album already. I wish ~half of it wasn't tracks that we've already had for years.
