It's true we had a good year or two there, with a lot of releases...especially compared with others. However, as a long-time fan, sometimes it's still hard not getting a new release every couple of months like back in the day! Not that I expect her to do so, or think she should -- but we were really spoiled back then!

I always thought it would be cool if she did another single project (like the trilogy) but on bigger scale...maybe something like Ku's 12 single project, though a new single every week might be too much (especially these days). I think it would be really cool if she did something like a "1 Year Diary" where she released a song each month based on her feelings/observations/etc. in that month, and then at the end released an album with it all. I would even be happy with digital singles, since there's probably not money there anyway. (And we all know she loves a "diary" song title!)

I think this is a fantastic idea.
A bit out of topic, I want her to rest but at the same time I want new music so badly.

It really has not been that long. It has been a while for Ayu but in general a year without new music is totally normal. I think Ayu is the only one I know that releases an album every year. We definitely are spoiled.

^That's right! if she wants to drop a new album, I'm in, but I'd love physical singles first like in the old days, to hype people about it

uh, i tap that. I think it would be beneficial for all sides - not much afford for ayu, not much money needed for avex and - a lot to look forward to for us fans! Sometimes I got the feeling, that us fans need to talk to officials because we have so great marketing ideas !

Even though it has been quiet lately, I have to agree to @truehappiness that we had a bunch of new stuff in 2015-2016. We are good.
Allthough I can't help but to be very happy to hear new material is coming up!

I hope the silence means good things. Hopefully she doesn't push herself to the limit.
a'nation should be fun to rehearse for, not an obligation. I have so much respect for her!

i think she is pushing even harder this time around. i think rehearsals and preparing for lives is much more exhausting than working on new music. i got the feeling that her physical state is worse than the time, where she was releasing a lot of stuff..

Yeah! She is singing BLUE BIRD. Also I think there's gonna be fairylandbecause of the fabric on dancers' wirst. The setlist must be full of her classic summer songs 4sure. Those videos are getting so dramatic lol It's playing a upbeat song but there's always images of her thinking and suffering. Weird.

This sounds maybe weird, but I am so done with these rehearsal-shots. They don't show any sneakpreview that hypes me for watching a'nation. All (and it is a lot of) pictures look sad, exhausted and dramatic like some members already said.
In my mind I think: yea girl, I love you, and I absolutely respect your work, but come on... show us something with more energy and excitement.

When she practiced the aerial hoop, she post much more happy, powerful, focused, energized pictures on her insta. I even used one of her rehearsalpics as background, to channel her energy. She looked so hot. And exhausted but then in a good way.

It feels as if I am just looking at Ayu being tortured, and I really hate it.

I agree with you. I also hate seeing Ayu exhausted. To be honest, I'd rather just wait until the show than have these preview videos of the rehearsals.

I also don't enjoy these rehearsal videos that much. They don't really show anything. I liked when she did the instagram livestreams better.
