^I think he's in no group as of now. But he was in B.I.G. with YamaPi and Kouki and in 4 TOPS with YamaPi (and others, of course, but I can't remember really, one was Kazama, right?) and maybe some more units.

Johnny's don't debut every year. Last year has been no debut, right? H!S!7 debuted in 2007.

Really? Oh wow, I had no idea he was in a group before with Yamapi.

I guess there's a lot of work/time/effort when a group does debut, so I can imagine why there isn't a debut every year. Maybe there will be a group debuting this year, hopefully.

What about Shirota Yuu? Is he in a group or no? :/

^YamaPi and Toma seem quite close. When Yamashita was on SCP (Shounen Club Premium) and they watched old clips, he did look quite sad when he was 4 TOPS. It seems he thought they'll debut as 4 TOPS or that they will debut together at least.

And Shirota Yuu isn't a Johnny's. He was a member of D-Boys, though.

OMG, Toma and Yamapi are that close? I always thought Toma was really hot.

And too bad Shirota Yuu isn't a Johnny's. I wish he was. :/

I think they're because when NEWS was announced/formed , there were many terrible things that happened which lead to the spilt up of many Jr bands that were already popular in which 1 of them was 4 TOPS

yeah, Johnny's don't necessarily debut every year. i think Johnny plans ahead, but it can take up to some number of years before a debut. it just depends on whether it's time for a group to debut.

i think this time around, since Hey!Say!JUMP took a number of the most popular Junior members, it's going to take a while for another one to debut. but, we can never know what's going on in Johnny's, LOL.

I don't think Toma Ikuta would have time to be in a music group though, cus he's been so busy doing J-dramas and stuff. And he has the supporing male role in the VOICE J-drama that's currently airing.

haha, JE has some interesting magazine titles. Popolo, Wink Up (...i don't get it, LOL), Potato (...i don't get this either. SO RANDOM. xD), & Myojo reminds me of Mojo. LOL.

the formation of NEWS caused some drama, i agree. not only with 4TOPS, but KANJANI8 thought they were going to disband also. Ryo got pissed, LOL.

BUT THANKFULLY...KANJANI8 still remains today.

yeah there were quite a lot of commotion surrounding NEWS when they were formed 6 years ago , Johnny's a bit cruel to spilt up the already exisiting Jr groups that were already popular despite not debuting like 4TOPS

& oh I didn't know Ryo was pissed with regs to Eito's case

Are those magazines, JE specific type of magazines? Like, they only talk about JE artists/groups?

^Mainly, but not only. Other talents are featured as well. Like actresses. Horikita Maki, Toda Erika and Ueto Aya are featured in all issues I own. xD
It's fascinating that the guys (and girls) have so much to talk about when they're featured in x magazines every month. lol

That's what I was implying.

Latest example would be the split up of Ya-ya-yah (or however that's written xD) after which Ayukawa Taiyou left Johnny's. Must have been quite disappointing for him.

Yes. Taiyou left JE, while Shoon remained a junior. I read that Shoon didn't make it into JUMP, because he was born during the Shouwa era (meaning before 1989). Maybe the same applies to Taiyou? I don't know their birthdays, but I'll look them up.
Looked it up. lol Shoon was born in 1988, but Taiyou in 1991, so he theoretically could have become a member of HSJ.
