Yeah, I know. To be honest, I myself had a hard time believing the numbers could jump that way, still AVEX did display that they can win a fight, fair or not. If it was all regularly done Mirrocle World would've never outsold Days/GREEN as it wasn't nearly as well received as Days.

Exile vs. Arashi is a different case. They both dun have a streak to hold them back. Making a battle will probly profit both bands (or companies). Besides, If exile gets no. 2 (which they are now), it doesn't look as bad as ayu getting no. 2 and breaking her streak. Exile is used to getting no. 2 anywayz (probly except last year or so).

E vs. A is just similar to hikki vs. ayu back in 2001. Hikki had only one album released before hand. Of course she would look pretty bad if she lost to ayu since she was like the top diva, with debut album sold over 7 million copies in Japan. And ayu had nothing to lose if she got no. 2 (which she got on the first week). Honestly I can tell that back then I wanted hikki to win the battle, cuz it's more likely that she couldn't afford to lose it. Right now if hikki vs. ayu again in single chart, I dun mind hikki getting no. 2 cuz she doesn't have anything to lose.

I think avex actually does. If not, they would not promote MW like crazy when SCS caused a huge threat during the mid of the week. If the weened sales figure was absolutely real (i.e., they didn't play dirty tricks ), and I must say I was very amazed by how the hardcore fans will power to save ayu's streak. That weekend sales were quite abnormal compared the usual sales pattern last two years.

I just hope her Japanese fans can save her streak again this time. (probly many of them will buy multiple copies again ). I really wanna see her beating seiko's record before breaking her own streak..

I'm kinda thinking maybe Ayu's fans in Japan went crazy and bought multiple copies of MW more than avex messing with sales in some way... That at least seem some what likely in my eyes, haha. But who knows. =)

Anyway I will re-post what I've said, I seriously hope that Avex will promote her correctly this time ! That's pity that they don't move anymore. I would be more excited if we had different teaser, TVs announcement, mags, dunno what, but there waiting in the dark it's all but exciting -_-

The cover, I would like to see them ! I've ordered the single for my sister's Xmas ( between a load of Ayu goodies @o@ got a free Ayupan letter set from yesasia *O* and I'm so happy to have wait to get the drink bottle u_u ) and I would like to see the cover as gift for myself ^^ not I don't have any ayu Cds, but I know she will be very happy to get it. So the cover for me is enough XD

But yeah promo ! JEWEL that wasn't a physical single got more promo that Rule or Sunrise -_- me I like to see promo and such plus it's Xmas soon and Xmas feeling is quite exciting !

I won't die if she lose her streak but I will be honest it would be a bit odd to me ^^ so odd that I'm almost ready to order another copy of the single WTF -_-

No offense but I'm so disappointed by the blanket o-o I can't have it but damn black color is ro random >.< little thing like this cut me straight, Avex doesn't look like to make much effort anymore. A blanket matching the color theme of the single would had been much better.

I don't see why avex shouldn't focus anymore on her her popularity's obviously decreases than before but she's still important for avex. I guess.

We haven't seen yet the colour scheme of this single. How do you know the colour scheme isn't black?

True,and I assumed with the pics we had (after all that's maybe a generic and the blanket could be totally different, everything could happens @o@ ), but I don't really think it would be black, black and white or such, she said it is a slightly different approach and she already did it with HEAVEN, then if that's black, black and white or such, Ayumi forgot easily her own covers shot ^W^ I wouldn't had mind a pink blanket for Days/GREEN

But after all I learnt to never trust her words =o= .... when she says something most of the time it's not very true then yeah she can be all excited for something being bleh in the end XD
