She just mentioned that on Masato's blog there's a blog dedicated to why people are so desperate to hear this new song, because it was made by the composer of A Song for XX. But she did pretty much keep the majority of titles that went with GEO/Jade's songs ^_^ It's different when she writes the lyrics first and then gets the music written, or well maybe you're right.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember her stating in an interview when she was promoting A Song for XX, that the producers picked the song titles and she just went with it.
