Your biggest Ayu disappointments

I don't know what was it, but the voice from 1998 and the one from 2008 sounds like it is from a completely different person, the one from now sounds quite different but not that dramatically. And tbh, I still love her 2008 vocals the most.

I became a fan because of Secret. Post 2010 when social media and smartphones got bigger, she went from being a pop idol who was applauded for her music, to being the japanese Kim Kardashian i.e. known for scandals with nothing genuine. It made me realize NOTHING about Ayu has been genuine.

Looking back, even in the most emotional, rebellious, or dramatic moments, it was always pre-planned, manufactured and controlled and somewhere around 2009-2011 that person stopped giving a fuck and let her do what she wanted, hence her career today.

The constantly teasing her fans with retirement and then when the next album comes out she uses the same "this isn't the end, this is just the beginning hahaha! Haters." +clowns concept every other year, is so tired I'm yawning while writing this. I'm disappointed having to put up with this charade every year.

Oh yes... I forget the Lipsincing in a concert.. like CDL with Angel Song.
That really was dissapointed.
But well.. I think, a lot of singers to it. So.. if this are only a few song.. it is ok.

Threads getting more negative here. I don't like Moon/blossom single and that Ayu wasn't even in the PV for blossom and used such a clichéd storyline probably makes this release the biggest disappointment to me.

Not about to bash, but if promoting Love Songs by marrying Mannie really was Ayu's masterplan she failed miserably - so I don't think that was the reason she did it. After all she didn't get divorced and then engaged to JUNO or Nao for promoting FIVE.

I've never heard of that before. But now that I think about it, it was very timely for her to get married right after Love songs.

Not saying that's why she got married (I'm still inclined to believe it was for "love"), but that's an interesting theory.
