By the way, I think that it's ayu's first album to have no songs with tie-ins at all.

Colours had Hello new me with the drama tie-in and Pray with that anime movie (even though the movie was unsuccessful).

Can you link a reliable source that speaks of BUDDHA 2's box office failure? I thought that movie would do real well. What a shame..

In Japan, China is far from popular in any sense.

I think they meant it's marketed towards China? Or the Chinese market at least. Using a super popular Chinese pop singer is bound to draw interest from China. But that won't necessarily reflect sales.

It is sad that she no longer has tieups. I thought maybe we'd get one, alas...

Although to be honest, I don't see that many tie ups on TV.

However, it is kind of unlikely. Usually she has at least ONE... even for Party Queen and LOVE again.

JJ Lin is Singaporean. his fans are all over Asia lol - Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, etc..

"Chinese market" probably should be Chinese-speaking markets. that extends to a lot more places than China alone

I got back into Ayu relatively easily after a short hiatus post-Colours~

i felt this way after Love songs as well, i LOOOOVE Love songs and it was my ultimate favorite album a loong time and i listened to it like there's no tomorrow but then she released FIVE which is the one of the albums i still don't enjoy listening to, the feeling continued with Party Queen but You & Me got me back on track. i loved everything until she released Colours which blew life out of me because it was so orgasmic! maybe i overplayed ayu with Colours and now i feel that i need something else for a while

Zutto... / Last minute / Walk was good but i expected more because of her glowing words about upcoming single

but i'm gonna give this a try, it can't be worse than Party Queen for sure

I'm getting curious/excited to see how this album does on the charts now, especially since Ayu and Kumi's carears have been on the same path for a while .. and Kumi's new album has just debuted at number 1 on it's first day with 30,000 being sold which is higher than her last albums first sales day ... Overall i hope AOne does well, cause i feel like Ayu deserves this album to do alot better than the last one, since everything has been much more of a higher quality and better consistancy this time around.

I'm not excited either for some reason. Maybe because Colours was so flawless, LOVE again had all that drama, and Party Queen literally came out of nowhere and was different in Ayu's discography (and I actually LOVE that album). But this just seems like typical Ayu flair idk lol but I'm still gonna give it a listen. All her albums have a gem here and there.

I'm very excited, so far Gift is the least interesting song on this album and yet it's very good (I give it 8/10), there's not even one song so far I dislike

I've come to enjoy the Gift more. Idk what it is exactly. The piano at the beginning and end is absolutely flawless.
I'm pretty excited for the album. I enjoy the covers. Except the one with the weird smirk looking expression, but even that's okay. The others though I can definitely see fitting with the mood of this album which I like. And the mood for the album in general seems to be coming together to me, it's just hard to pinpoint what it is.
I really wish ayu had a PV for NO FUTURE though T.T
