I would say my biggest complaint is what she’s doing with her voice lately. Listening to her newest albums since her return from maternity leave, she sometimes just flat out makes her voice sound ugly. I never used to think that, so it’s unfortunate that i do now.

I hear "Chances are" too. If that is the lyric then this would be a bit of an epic failure on her part at this point. After 16 albums, she knows decent enough English to not make this kind of error. So, I'm thinking we're probably hearing it wrong.

I kind of expected something more... tighter after AND and WOML. She's been working on this album for an entire year, right? Why does it sound like songs that didn't make WOML or AND, and not an album with a year's worth of work put into it?

Really, these covers blow me away. But it's like getting a prepaid iPhone SE in an iPhone 8 Plus box. It looks like one hell of an album, but the previews aren't even meeting my low excitement for Ultraviolet.

How do you hear something of "a year's worth"?
A pity you and some others don't like her changing style.
But can't help it.

Without having the official lyrics it's probably to no avail, but I also hear "Chances are" in the song. Tho you can't even rely on official lyris nowadays, rofl.
Anyway, I don't see a problem with her singing that and calling the song with a different title if it fits the lyrics. Does she have to sing the title somehwere in the lyrics for you?

It’s possible that in Chances All, there’s a switch in the lyrics. Like, after singing chances are, towards the end of the song she starts singing chances all—like, “chances are” representing a negative outcome, and “chances all” representing a positive one. Incorrect English, but...that wouldn’t be the first time lol.

That's a nice idea.
And wouldn't surprise me as well, as the letter L doesn't exist in Japanese and R is a mix between those two letters - so "chances are" and "chances all" probably sound a lot alike for Japanese people, even though it's incorrect.

Nice to see a good reception for the song (from the anime's page on Reddit and twitter), I'm always afraid for anime songs when it's not your typically "anime song singer", and the song is pretty good, just as I expecting judging by the others OP for the series.
