MariahDailyJournal is able to confirm that the Angels Advocate album, a Remixed edition of Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel will not be released, as announced, on Tuesday, March 30th.

According to Mariah's management, the album will not be put out in the regular album fashion but they are working on releasing some singles off the album. "It won't go to waste," we were assured.

Mariah and her team have their focus set on the next album and how to put this out creatively and financially effective. "We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn't been totally made yet. It's a creative process that cannot be rushed."

Hey guys, anyone of you knows of a good and active forum dedicated to Mariah? I have looked but find only dead forums or the official one who asks for a lot of personal info and credit card even in the free registration.

I LOVE Memoirs and think maybe Candy Bling is my favorite.

It's good it got cancelled. I mean it's bad for her image, I mean they were basically planning to release it because Memoirs didn't do that great and non of the singles did great too.

Personally I want MC to release like every few years not every year. I just like her that way, But I do want her to release a new album, I didn't really like Memoirs that much.

Twenty years ago today, Mariah Carey wrote the first chapter in what has become one of the most exceptional Billboard chart discographies.

Carey's debut single, "Vision of Love," entered the Billboard Hot 100, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Adult Contemporary in the issue dated June 2, 1990. The song would become her first of 18 Hot 100 No. 1s, the most among solo artists in the chart's 52-year history. Among all acts, only the Beatles, with 20, have more No. 1s.

In addition to her historic No. 1 total on the Hot 100, Carey has tallied 15 toppers on Dance/Club Play Songs, 11 on Radio Songs and 10 on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

In that span, only Garth Brooks (68.4 million) and the Beatles (60.9 million) rank higher. "Daydream" yielded the 16-week Hot 100 No. 1 "One Sweet Day," with Boyz II Men, marking the longest reign by any title in the chart's history.
