I posted this video in the Core of Soul thread, but I wanted to post it here so people can see it too.

Nami Tamaki sang "Full Moon Prayer", which is a song by the J-pop group "Core of Soul". She sang this song when she auditioned for Sony Music before she got her record contract, and she was like 13 at that time, or something. She sounds and looks so mature.

I love that mix of "Part of Your World"! I know she sang it for a HSM Japan event, but I kinda hope that mix is somehow released. lol

"Negai Hoshi" is okay. It's nothing too special, though :/

new single is up for order, "Friends!" double a-side large scale tie-up 7/29 Friends! will be used as the CM tune for dariya's "Palty" hair color (set to begin in the middle of July) sticker bonus for first press. Type B will include the extra track ""Happy forever."

And cool that there are 3 versions of this single, just like "Give me up". It seems Universal are spending money and effort into her. ^^

Nami's song on "Ghibli meets Lovers Reggae" won't be completely new. All the tracks on there are covers of Ghibli songs. I wonder which one she'll sing...

Well, if this promotion for the hair color will be as extensive as the promotion for Namie Amuro's "60s70s80s" single was last year, this could be a big hit. Of course, Nami isn't quite as popular as Namie, but still, promotion does work. And since the other song is supposed to have a large tie-in, I wonder what it'll be attached to...

I really hope she does more promotion for this single, since it's supposed to have large tie-ins.

Right now I do't care too much about sales. I just want a song that's good D:
"Kanojo" so far is the only UNIVERSAL J move song I love. Everything else is ok.

As far as I know, MEG's song, "HEART", and mihimaru gt's song, "Kibun JoJo" both
had tie-ins with the Palty Hair CM, so I hope Nami Tamaki will do well with the Palty tie-in.

Palty looks like some funky hair product from the CM's I've seen of it.
