^ Even without the documentary though, I think its pretty obvious from their attitudes. If you are truly still interested in your band, you don't go off to do a million different side projects. And that's every member, not just Hyde. You can also see in the documentary that they don't act like they are very close to each other anymore. Doesn't mean they can't still come together to make great music together every once in a while or perform a few live shows. Didn't they make an announcement last year though that they wouldn't be doing any live shows together for at least a few years?

I'm not sure about the announcement thing since I'm still considered a L'arc noob

even if so , it's sad that things have to come to this manner & ugh I still regret getting into their music waaaay too late when NEXUS 4 / SHINE was released last year @_@

^Yeah, no live shows of Laruku till 2011. But I honestly haven't noticed anything like this, even after watching the documentry O_o I think I'll watch it again when I get the time. But I seriosuly DOUBT these guys will abandon Laruku at this satge but we'll see...

Well, that's another way of looking at it. I just thought Hyde meant that they would do their solo thing for a while just to take a break. I mean, it's hard working in a 4-man-band. But this IS where their main popularity comes from after all....

Thanks Alicia & god , 2011 ?!?! O_O

that's very long but I just realised that 2011 is their 20th anniversary

I hope they wouldn't spilt up before that milestone

^ They don't have any plans of splitting up, just that its not really where their hearts are at the moment. (which is why I'm sure they said they don't really want to do anything till 2011)

About the docu - they didn't really interact with each other much. Even before shows, they say that they pretty much keep to themselves, and then even when Ken got hurt on stage, nobody actually asked if he was ok even. All of them were kind of off doing their own thing throughout the docu. So yeah, it seemed apparent that they aren't extremely tight knit. However, they have a good working relationship with each other.

If course they didn't say anything to him right there on stage. That wud've been a little strange. Now, how do you know whether they didn't say anything backstage??? -_- IMO, I don't think that should be counted. But, I guess you're sort of right, but things like this can't/shouldn't lead to a split up of the band!!!

^ Did you watch the whole documentary? It shows the whole wait time backstage while he was being bandaged up and the members really didn't say or do anything. (at least to the best of my memory) I just found their behavior towards each other somewhat odd; like I thought they were closer friends than that. Everything that I am saying was stated as well as shown clearly in the documentary, so its not like anything new or shocking. I don't think the docu has been subbed though, so probably a lot of people don't realize a lot of what was said. And never did I say that they were splitting up. Just that from what Hyde said, they are in different places mentally now than where they were before and that the primary reason for L'arc to keep going is basically because of fan demand.

Yeah, I think a lot of what you're saying makes sense Sunshine Slayer - even if I don't wanna believe it lol!

Still, I can't deny that I'm enjoying the solo stuff - Roentgen is one of my fave albums of all time and I enjoy Suite November & In Physical. But I wish there was more group music to show for the period between the 15th & 20th anniversaries. I definately hope they keep going beyond 20 years. I don't mind if they want to stop for solo stuff - it's understandable seeing as each member wants to sing and they can all play different instruments etc so they would want to try something themselves. Just don't break up - I'll be gutted!

(Though I've never been a band/boy/girl group sort of person - only solo artists really - so if they did break up it'd be the first band I'd be properly gutted about!)

But yeah, I think they'll carry on but with regular breaks.

Yeah, though I prefer L'arc, as long as they keep churning out quality solo stuff then I am satisfied. I loved Hyde's first three solo albums. VAMPS I like a lot, but not as much as some of Hyde's earlier solo works.

Yeah, they're solo stuff is great but I think its obvious that none of them (NOT even HYDE) will ever have the same recognistion/ fanbase that the band has had as whole. So, I think that even if these guys aren't so close anymore (which, tbh, doesn't come as a big suprise to me) they shouldn't disband just yet. Disbanding at this stage where their popularity is on a peak would be very stupid, and very very very disappointing!!

VAMPS – LIVE 2009 FINAL PARTY TV Report

Flanked by the ship’s 16-inch guns and with the stars and stripes flying behind them, the band performed 20 songs, including the upcoming release “Sweet Dreams.” About 600 fans paid $150 each to see the unique show.

The tour took in 60 shows in Japan and the U.S. and finishing off in Hawaii, which is in more than one way the meeting point between the two countries, was heavily symbolic. Hyde said, “I think it’s great that an instrument of war can be used to send out a message of peace like this.”

tetsu got 120 marks !

Small news about tetsu (L’Arc~en~Ciel) , his wife, Sakai Ayana has commented this on nikkansport :

“There is nobody else like tetsu. I give him 120 marks as a husband. Compared to him, I’m not good at doing housework so I only give myself 30 marks.“

It seems he really enjoy his break and spend a lot of time with his wife. <3

aw that's so sweet of his wife to give him 120/100 & ugh I love that pic of tetsu *_____*
