After listening to Kumi's preview and Kelly's version, I'm leaning more towards Kelly. I love Kumi, and I love a lot of her more rock songs, but her Engrish has always been cringe worthy and it makes me worried about the amount of it that might be in her version. That, and I don't think she has the same sort of power that Kelly's voice does to pull off this kind of song. IDK though, I'll have to wait until the full version is out to properly make up my mind.

I know Physical Thing and Alive aren't covers the true sense but why cover a song by an American singer, or any singer for that matter? Kuu will be known as "that one Asian singer who covered Kelly's song" by the music people in America @_@; ("music people" wtf?) ( ).

From the preview I think it sounds good and that it has potential but Kelly's sounds a lot stronger.

it's not that bad..
i like the intro, it has a good atmosphere!
the song gave me... kinda a cool feeling!
and there are parts of the melody that sounded really good!
i think i really like this song!

and i don't care if it's a cover...
i mean when i listen to a song i don't waist my time to think about that the song is a cover!
if i like a song then "hello new music i like" and if i don't like it then "hello trash can"!!

I think kumi did a very nice job at the song, but I preffer kelly, it's just that much more powerful. I think they should do a duet! that would be epic.
